Tell that to MS and Square Enix. Sony ain't bankrolling an exclusive like that anyway so don't worry about that.

2: what makes these folks such reliable sources (beside Thuway of course)?

It's still a remake.

A FF7 sequel would be way more hype. But of course, none of this is happening, and silly speculation. I hope Reggie crashes the event with an NWO shirt and chairs Shu in the back when he isn't looking.
 
So has that guy talking about the FFVII remake been ''approved'' by bish? :D
Also I see many hints about Crash....are you even sure that you can distinguish between fantasy and reality in this thread anymore?

I don't really get the hype behind FF7R. I know it's one of the best games of all time, but I'd rather have them put the resources into new games that could have the possibility of becoming the new best games of all time.
 
It's not that people want Street Fighter V to be exclusive but there are signs of it might be happening. It's known Ono is working on a PS4 game, Ono meets with SCEA, Ono is attending PSX and Capcom has been hyping up a announcement at Capcom Cup.

It's possible that PSX and the Capcom Cup announcement have nothing in common.

Would be a bit sad though.
If there is one thing I don't wanna see ending up exclusive, it's major competitive games like SF.

Maybe it could be just special in game characters like Kratos or whatever?

Because the staff that ruined the solid gameplay with a stupid super to mechanic that people constantly bitched about before and after release wouldn't be working on the game.

I'm sure Sony would devote much more time and resources to another crossover game within the fighting game genre so it'll have all of the things I don't care about in a FG (UI, certain characters, single player modes, unlockables, etc).

No, they shouldn't have done a Smash Bros rip off. It should have used lifebars and supers should do damage and/or status elements.

As someone who learned PSABR over the last few months and is now currently playing Smash Bros Wii U, the neutral game alone is completely different from Smash Bros. And that's a good thing. You can have 2 games in the same sub-genre that plays completely different.

Ex. Street Fighter and Guilty Gear or Virtua Fighter and Tekken.

If we assume for the moment that all of those are real, none of them would compare to the reaction FF7's remake would create. To a Playstation fan, there are few games that will ever be as important or memorable as FF7.

I don't think it'll ever been announced. But if it were, then it'd make the Twilight Princess unveiling look like Sony's AT&T Vita announcement.

They should have done a full rip off with a giant cast of playstation characters. PSABR was a blast but it was all over the place balance wise, and some characters were just too good.
 
If Worthy's information is indeed Megaton material and he sends out PMs left and right, this will be all over the Internet in no time won't it? Depending on the amount of info obviously ;)
