I don't mind leakers and wouldn't know if they actually know something or not. But I dislike it when people use info others want as a tool to tease or get attention.

Yeah, I'll have to agree with these. Based on what people are saying and the comments that there will be people "raging," I seriously doubt it's Crash, though. It has to be something that's both REALLY beloved in the community and a game one would expect to see across multiple platforms. I don't think people like Crash enough to "rage," especially since it's already associated with Sony.
We have the hint of it being an "old IP," but what constitutes an "old IP," exactly? Something we haven't seen in ten years? Twenty?

The FGC hasn't really decided on their new main console yet, so I doubt there'd be a huge outrage over Street Fighter.
DMC, maybe a bit more? Scalebound is coming to XB1, Bayonetta is on Wii U, action game fans would be pretty split.
Nah, some just go "get excited there is something big happening at this show" or something on them lines, then they shut up. Others like to keep on and on and on so people get over hyped and the thread gets crazy.

You know what would be pretty cool thing to get announced? People talk a lot about PS1+PS2 emulation but how about PSP+PSV?
I don't know how feasible PSV emulation would be but all PS TV games would automatically work on PS4 controller. And most importantly PSP emulation would probably be much easier to implement and all the games would work.
PSP has quite a few great games that many home console gamers never got a chance to play.

Well if it's crash or FF7 i wouldn't be that floored until they showed something cool or impressive looking. I still don't see why Crash would make people that excited. Granted Crash team racing was my first playstation game i had ever seen so it does hold some significance in my life. What nostalgia does crash hold that would make it a more successful revival campaign than sly cooper 4? That was a good game but it seems to have only been popular in europe.

Earlier someone said this thread would go in circles. I predicted FFVII -> Crash -> Ape Escape -> Random Games -> Repeat
Well, we talked about Crash again, then someone mentioned Ape Escape, and now we're listing other games again, so, the cycle's about to go back to FFVIIR here in a bit, it would seem :V
Crash was far more successful. It would sell multi millions in the 90s whereas Sly was struggling to break 1 million during the PS2 platformer era on the PS2 install base. I say this as someone who loved all four Sly games.

Ape Escape 4 would be incredible, but it's so unlikely
I still maintain that the fact they didn't do an actual Ape Escape game with the Move controllers was a huge missed opportunity. The stuff on the PS4 controller is even well suited for new ideas in that series.
