Yeah, even those had their moments, though.

You could string together CQC moments that looked like they were out of a movie, like my unsuccessful bullet dodging technique above.

Doing all of that in a team sneak match is even more thrilling. Especially if the opposing team linked up and you bought a scanning plug.

I'm starting to think how elements of Ground Zeroes and TPP can be incorporated into MGO.

I'm really hoping they bring the carrying mechanic over. You'll see badass moments where players dash into danger to carry an unconscious teammate on their shoulders and get them to somewhere safe.

The LA studio are handling MGO so I don't think its development would hold Phantom Pain back in any way.

Yes. Two separate studios are working on SP and MP, so no focus is being lost.

I mean, most people just consider it MGO(1), though. In any event, it was the first iteration. MGS4's was the second (since no one includes PO/PO+). MGSW's was "third" but it doesn't count because reasons. So, MGSV's is considered "MGO3" for all intents and purposes.

MGO2 saved MGS4 from being a total letdown. So while MGS4 SP was lame, my addiction to the amazing nonsense of MGO2 made the purchase doubly worth it.

So now if MGSV's SP is as amazing as it looks and its paired with a new phenomenal MGO3... could well be GOTG.

The 'Those That Arent There' lot like Fire Volgin and so on could be other good special characters. Good way to bring back dead characters from the rest of Big Boss' rogues gallery.

It would be nice to finally get one. But i guess it would not make sense to make such an announcement at the game awards. but then again.. who knows... Kojima and Doritos man seem to not fit the mold often. I hope the show is full of surprises, including a release date for this game.
