yeah, there has definitely been more outside hype than sony hyping it up. if PSX provides nothing else other than ps1/2 emulation or 1 new PS4 exclusive, and/or a sliver of uncharted 4 gameplay that blows everyone away (ie. any 2 of those 3), it'll be about in line with what they themselves did to hype up this event. all of this other stuff about FF remakes, bringing a bunch of old franchises back is all hype created from anticipation of this event and speculation.

I could actually see this. Ubisoft seems like they need a reason that they can't find on their own. BG&E2 is just the type of "good will" project Sony likes to back.

I'd be super disappointed if it was Doom. I don't see any way it is though. Doom not being on PC would be insane.
