Highly unlikely, I think Sony would rather go for smaller studio's who have great potential.

I have absoutely no interest in any of their IPs.

GG makes games with decent gameplay and incredible world design.

Also the space nazis theme is really really great.

But yeah writing sucks.

Crytek on the other hand : shitty world (nothing new to be seen here), incredible boring settings (Attacked by aliens...) and repetive gameplay.

If they buy Crytek... welp than im gonna be really mad at sony for waisting money at some useless guys (Most of them on the tech side are usefull but gamedesign guys should be fired right away).

What? Cinematic third-person shooters are hard to demo? 50hr RPGs and MMOs are hard to demo.

From what Ive seen of The Order they seem to have put far more context into each battle, especially ith the numerous cutscenes. Cutscenes are just in the nature of this game and if you need a 2 min cutscene to set up a 5min gameplay, then youre going to have complaints that cutscenes took up too much of the demo.

Really just hoping for a 10-15min demo to watch.

There would be no ROI if they purchased Crytek. Do they even have enough CryEngine clients to even come close to breaking even with the tech, since they have very few IPs:

I mean:

Crysis, Warface, Ryse, Arena of Fate, Hunt? There are no huge sellers there, unless Sony wants a first person MOBA with Arena of Fate....
