I looked but as far as I can tell none of you caught the Reeve Superman reference?

When Iris was trying to get Flash to tell her his name. "What, like Ralph?" Basically what Reeve Clark said in one of the movies. Forget which one though. Think it's Superman II.

Who was that chick Oliver was talking to at the end?
His ex girlfriend who he got pregnant. Oliver's mother paid the girl off to move to Central City and raise the kid there, while she told Oliver the girl got abortion. So bassicaly he has a son he has no clue about.

Pretty sure
it was just said she lost the baby, like a miscarriage.

Cracks me up every time

this scene was amazing

season 2 spoilers ahead
she is the mother of his son, per season 2 she was pregnant and Moira paid her in exchange for her silence regarding Oliver's son and with the condition that she moved to Central City. Moira then told Oliver that the girl had a miscarriage and that she moved to Central City.

Oh yea forgot about that. Was that the same actress? Didn't get a familiar vibe at all.

I'm Loving DCTV. They fully embrace the characters and world they live in. Too bad about the whole Gotham/Metropolis crap.

I actually think that ban might be a good thing. Especially Gotham (Metroplis ban will propably be liften if Supergirl becomes part of Arrowverse), because it allows them to assume there's no Batman in this world and Oliver can fully take his place, his storylines and his villains.

I think the Gotham ban is because of the show Gotham. Though if Titans is in the Arrowverse, they could potentially lift the ban thanks to Nightwing.

I like the way they handled the cross-over. They advanced things on the Arrow front with the ex-girlfriend, they advanced The Flash plot with Robbie Amell and they had time to tease tomorrow's episode. All that mixed in AWESOME.

WHAT IF
Reverse-Flash is actually Barry from a future where he was still under the effect of Prism's powers? It would explain the red eyes.

Scoop on next week's episode from TVLine:
Q: Is it true that The Flash Flash Reverse-Flashwill be introducing Reverse-Flash very soon? That seems more like a season finale sort of thing. –Greg

A: The iconic adversary’s introduction apparently was — wait for it — fast-tracked. In the midseason finale (airing Dec. 9), “Barry and Reverse-Flash come face-to-face,” Grant Gustin affirms. The actor then makes clear that it’s not The Flash who meets the foe, but Barry—”and it rocks him, to say the least. It terrifies him.” After it is confirmed to Barry that Reverse-Flash killed his mom, “It’s kind of a relief in some ways, because it confirms that Barry isn’t crazy and that what he thought he saw as a kid is true,” Gustin previews. “Now he is more determined than ever to find this guy and stop him, kill him. This might be a special circumstance where Barry would break a neck.”

The ones that were deleted were along the lines of "I'm beating off to this." Those will typically get deleted and sometimes people are banned for them. Reaction gifs in general aren't a problem, but let's try and not spam the thread with gifs. If you have specific questions, feel free to send me a PM.

I did, and while that wasn't my intent, I can see why it looks that way.

Moving on.

Rewound and watched that part 3 times. Pretty sure they did that on purpose, lol.

Yeah, I went back and checked it too after I heard it because I wasn't paying close attention the first time so I get everyone else who heard "Batman".

You're right. I don't have good memor for all the soap elements :D

Eh, I probably only remember it because of what it could lead to going by the comics, plus I rewatched Season 2 a few weeks ago.

That's incredible!!! So well deserved!

Kind of hope Arrow gets a nice ratings boost for its half of the cross over.

Oh and holy hell a lot people 50+ watch NCIS. 11.48M viewers on a rerun that competed with Flash and 10.49 for the other one but still only a 1.4. If Flash and Arrow were getting that number of people watching they'd be two of the highest rated shows on TV if their 18-49 demo scaled along with it.

Really enjoyed this episode. It was pretty much a classic comic book superhero team-up story, but done on television. The thing I loved the most was how much Arrow contrasted with the world of the Flash. Even though he's toned down his act, Ollie still came off as a complete psycho. If serial killer Ollie from season 1 had shown up, he would have probably seemed like Frank Miller's All Star Batman.

Who was
the lady at the end that oliver talks to?

Supposedly the mother of his child.

And thanks for the replies about batman. I just saw a page where everyone was saying the big B was referenced, and kept rewinding it to no avail. Now I know why:)

No I understand completely and I agree. It's the mentality of WB that keeps these worlds fractured that bothers me. They choose to do it this way which is baffling.

MCU doesn't have that issue, if they could they would use everything.

Don't forget the Johns rogue reboot of the Rainbow Raiders, who were vaguely a team of Super Sentai Villains... or Evil Power Rangers. I always thought the idea had loads of comedic potential but it never went anywhere.

Unpopular opinion, perhaps, but I like keeping things mostly separate.

A crossover or mention is OK, but eventually you get into issues with continuity, or having to follow everything, or just dumb stuff like "why doesn't Superman take out Deathstroke?"

Yeah and even with Flash and Arrow being on the same network, this crossover is actually pretty self contained. The Flash portion wrapped up pretty nicely for people that just watch that show, and I imagine the Arrow portion will be the same way.

Wells: Gideon, what is the worst kept secret?

Gideon: The Green Arrow is really Oliver Queen.

Well..one of the first things Oliver did was completely discredit that suspiction in eyes of general public though. Proving he's the Batman we deserve and need, no the dumb caped one that assumes nobody will connect his return and Batman's debuting in Gotham.
