Also it's not the biggest announcement there apparently... So expect various '-atons'.

There isn't going to be a Crash. Mods have said it several times already. Sony is going to make references toward Crash during the 20th anniversary because they have to since he's very important to the history of PS. But he's not Sony's IP, never has been and likely never will be.

There's a lot of Crash references because he was big on the PS1, which they're celebrating, doesn't necessarily mean there's going to be a new game. People are seeing what they want to see. That said a new Crash game would be great.

You can ultimately believe whatever you want. But hopefully you won't be writing the usual angry rants that we see after gaming shows about how Sony disappointed at a show based on things that they were never actually hinting at in the first place.

Well just Crash not bing there wouldn't make me angry or disappointed. If we don't get the, many times mentioned, three megatons, then I'll be disappointed.

Crash would really work as a downloadble game. Make it 40 bucks and I can see it doing well. I don't know how if it'll do well at retail stores.
 
I'm starting to doubt this train will arrive in Saturday, we're getting dangerously close to the 20K limit.

But Sony hasn't promised any of that. They've said that there will be announcements. They've hinted that there will be some from third and their own first party teams. But they haven't said anything about the scale of those announcements. That's why people tend to be disappointed in these shows. They work themselves up into a frenzy expecting very specific things and are disappointing when those specific things don't come up. There are people that were disappointed in TGS because a Japanese exec noted that Sony would be announcing a major game that could really help the PS4 in Japan. That turned out to be DQ:Heroes, which absolutely will help the PS4 in Japan, but it didn't match up to what they personally would've wanted so it was disappointing.

I'm not even trying to be negative. I'm just saying that people should try to be realistic when thinking of what may be announced. That doesn't mean that we won't get some amazing things. But those things may not turn out to be what you're specifically expecting.
