Sony has kept dropping little Crash references here and there, to which two camps believe

A) Its the 20th anniversary and he was a big part of it, nothing to read into it
B) OMG CRASH IS BACK

So rational people will say A, makes sense, completely agreed....for a while.

BUT if Crash is only mentioned because of the anniversary then Spyro would be mentioned as well, except he's not. No official twitter/blog nothing has mentioned Spyro in any capacity. No interviews with Insomniac, not even name dropped when listing PS1 classics by devs. Spyro is clearly owned by Activision and the Skylanders series, so no mention of him at any of the events makes sense. So then why is Crash being mentioned if the same case is true?

I think Crash is coming back. For real this time.

I see it's Crash time again on GAF. When will you guys learn?

Let him rest in peace :(

i will stop believing in Crash when Sony finally comes out and say there is no Chance for a Comeback.
But No Instead of that Sony is teasing, trolling and making us hope with all their actions.

All those ads, tweets and even Andrew House is saying there is a Chance for Crash.

But Sony hasn't promised any of that. They've said that there will be announcements. They've hinted that there will be some from third and their own first party teams. But they haven't said anything about the scale of those announcements. That's why people tend to be disappointed in these shows. They work themselves up into a frenzy expecting very specific things and are disappointing when those specific things don't come up. There are people that were disappointed in TGS because a Japanese exec noted that Sony would be announcing a major game that could really help the PS4 in Japan. That turned out to be DQ:Heroes, which absolutely will help the PS4 in Japan, but it didn't match up to what they personally would've wanted so it was disappointing.

I'm not even trying to be negative. I'm just saying that people should try to be realistic when thinking of what may be announced. That doesn't mean that we won't get some amazing things. But those things may not turn out to be what you're specifically expecting.
I never said Sony promised anything. Good god, you're being negative. Jeez.

So sounds like its a tribute poem of PS Vita to announce discontinuation support and withdrawal from market.

seriously, what is wrong with you. I am sure if I look at your post history every comment would be related to sony kicking you in the nuts and killing the vita or something to that effect. I love my vita too but jeez just let it go....

The numbers on that Crash thing, when put into a UNIX epoch converter, give the date as:

Thu, 24 May 2001 00:33:20 GMT

if that means anything...

Exactly. It's one thing to have a Crash reference. It's a whole different ball game with how much he's been referenced and shown.

I don't know why you bother. People that work themselves into a fever and then actually take the time to write about how they are upset are self-centered lazy trolls with no perspective. Not worth my time and certainly not worth your time since you don't have to moderate them.

Because Crash was way way more important for PlayStation than Spyro. Crash WAS PS back in the 90's so of course they're gonna talk about him.

This is the most reasonable post in this thread

But it's too late, the hype is real!

It's a bit of a controversial opnion,but i really would like a Titanfall PS4 version,but i don't see they announcing on PSX.Could this happen on TGA ?

Hey hey hey now. I want a new Crash game but not expecting it.

Even if they don't show FF7R, or Crash, or Shenmue, or Agent, or TLG, or anything else we've been waiting for, I won't be pulling out a pitchfork. I will be pulling out my PS4 controller. Because no matter what, 2015 is going to be an amazing year for Sony, and this event is going to highlight that. Any and all of those franchises above have a shot at coming out someday. If that time isn't now, then so be it.

Barret Wallace: You can't give up now! There ain't no gettin' off of this train we on!

C) Crash is a playable character in the All Star spiritual successor

Is it true that Respawn will be at PSX?

Titanfall on PS4 as the rage inducing announcement?

A GOTY edition with all maps and new content/modes? I'd be down, though not at $69.99

But if they announce a sequel that is coming to PS4, that'd be even bigger.

Titanfall has lots of room to grow with a sequel, I know the first one waned in popularity quite fast, but sequels can always elevate an IP

This.

Son of Catbird will rise. Believe!

Next Year we will get titanfall 2 anyway. And this time i think it will be multiplattform.

So why bother with the first one 8 Months after Release?

Just like TGS, the only thing I need to be satisfied is Persona 5 info. I can be satisfied other ways but that is all it needs.

I didn't even think of Shenmue goes it's a Sony event and obviously there haven't been any "hints". But I still don't see Crash happening. I think FF7 might be a thing cause didn't Verundus say he saw it before?
The last time he mentioned it, didn't he say it was really far off?

I know Sony hasn't promised anything, but when several posters, who presumably were cleared by mods, have teased 3 megatons, yeah I'm gonna be disappointed if the event doesn't deliver. I don't put that on Sony though.

I doubt people will ever learn to be reasonable with these things. It's a terrible cycle of ridiculous hype and utter disappointment that not many seem to learn from. At least we get great gifs and hilarious posts from it.

I'm so out of the loop, I have no idea what has been teased anymore. Too many hype-cycle disappointments left me burned out.
