I really want the "cute", niche japanesey stuff from MGO to return but I doubt they will. I'm gonna be bummed if they just turn MGO into another generic shooter without any of the extra fluff that made the previous ones cool and unique.

I didn't care for any of that. What I did care about is the stuff that made MGO a part of the Metal Gear universe. I highly doubt it will be a generic shooter. There will be boxes, there will be porn mags, there will be stealth, there will be CQC, and there will be crazy shit. That is what matters.

Nope. Gotta wait for it to pop up on Steam, which I'm guessing will be tomorrow night during the Game Awards Sale. VGX had one last year and the sale was just games related to what was on the show (from the same series or devs etc). So yeah, I assume tomorrow is the day

Ah, I gotcha! Sorry. I've explained it rather poorly. While registering your game ("basically random stuff" format) apparently nets you some content in TPP, it also enters you into a set of sweepstakes if you enter it by December 7. The other code (standard DLC redemption) cannot be redeemed until "Early 2015"! Hope THIS helps, sorry for a lack of clarity. O
