But it didn't need to move on. It was done. There was nothing left to say. Everything about T3 was a soulless cash grab.I get that's why people had a beef with it, but I didn't really care. I just wanted it to move on.

The best both of them..and what i just watched, no sorry.
the first person who said this line in the history of the franchise was a human.
Because a T-800 was sent back earlier in her life when she was a kid and raised her to become a badass. Hence old Arnold in the trailer.

I think you've got the backstory wrong.
On the verge of winning the war against Skynet, Connor sends his trusted lieutenant Kyle Reese back through time to save his mother's life and ensure his own existence. But what he finds on the other side is like nothing he ever expected. After being orphaned at age 9 by a Terminator, Sarah Connor has since been brought up by another Terminator, played by Schwarzenegger, programmed to protect her. This Terminator has then trained her to face her destiny, which she adamantly tries to reject.[3]
I'm sorry, but I still can't understand why some people are Ok with this movie deleting Terminator 1 and Terminator 2.
This is like if Universal released Back to the Future 4, with Justin Bieber as Marty McFly and Adam Sandler as Doc Brown, and they just go back in time and preventing the events of the 3 original movies from even happening.
Why would anyone like this?
The plot synopsis that leaked a few months ago was 100% spot on.
Skynet sends another Terminator back in time to kill Sarah's parents in the 70s, it succeeds but is defeated by another reprogrammed Terminator, which raises Sarah as she raised John in T2. So when Kyle arrives at 1984, she's already a badass, and the older Terminator defeats the 1984 Terminator sent to kill Sarah as an adult. I don't remember the rest, but due to the altered timeline, an additional/different T-1000 gets sent to 1992 to murder John and Sarah and Kyle, John's kid gets sent back as well, setting up the climactic fight.
that is literally horse shit
Did he ever really have full ownership though (beyond maybe the first)? I always assumed he had lost at least part of it in order to get the funding for T2?

I thoughtthe reason the terminator went back to 1984 was because that was the farthest back in time they could trace Sarah Conner/ John Conner's lineage.
Twist No. 1? Sarah Connor isn’t the innocent she was when Linda Hamilton first sported feathered hair and acid-washed jeans in the role. Nor is she Hamilton’s steely zero body-fat warrior in 1991’s T2. Rather, the mother of humanity’s messiah was orphaned by a Terminator at age 9. Since then, she’s been raised by (brace yourself) Schwarzenegger’s Terminator—an older T-800 she calls “Pops”—who is programmed to guard rather than to kill. As a result, Sarah is a highly trained antisocial recluse who’s great with a sniper rifle but not so skilled at the nuances of human emotion.
Not only was that terrible but(Storywise) they're nullifying the events of T1 and 2 for...that. =/

I don't even really have a problem with Jai Courtney. He's been okay in the movies I've seen him in (Die Hard, Divergent). Emilia Clarke however seems really awkward.
Terminaturd.
