And almost poisonous when contained in a liquid, tears for instance.
The closest comparison would be something like Monster Hunter right? Massive PSP franchise jumps exclusively to 3DS/WiiU
Let's see how are the reactions when Dragons Dogma 2 or something is only on Xbox.
Japanese publishers seem pretty hard up for cash these days.
It's a gigantic brand name. Imagine the ads with 'The only console this generation for Street Fighter and X AAA games"Is SFV really a big get for Sony? I don't think fighting games are system sellers.

Character models look incredibly detailed and well animated though.
You talk as if that had a chance in the best of times,
They only really need the first version. I doubt that a significant number of players will switch platforms if SFV2nd is released on Xbox One.

Doesn't the PS4 have worse input lag?
Huh?
Oh yeah you're right. Forgot about that. I don't really play those games but it must've been a huge surprise. Iwata playing out all his cards and it totally worked for them. See, I want everyone to be able to play every game and all, but those kind of deals spice things up. I like that.
This isn't SFIV.I know this was rumoured ages ago but I really didn't think it would happen but this is big! Not for me though as fighters aren't my thing and I've probably had enough after the PS4 version...unless they do some sort of discounted upgrade for people who have downloaded the PS3 version.
Only just seen this so haven't read the whole thread, has there been any confirmation of some sort of upgrade deal?

What if this is just the beginning of a Sony purchase of Capcom? What is Capcom's value right now?
My guess is Sony might have founded it a bit since Ono said it would be too costly/Capcom don't have money.
Ya damn right lolOmg, i have to get a PS4 now.
Sony throwing out those checks like its raining!
So much for Sony not paying for 3rd party games to be exclusive to their consoles.
I don't think this will actually release in 2018. Could've been a false flag then or Sony stepping in and paying for console exclusivity accelerated development.
I'm sure a lot of these "upset" Xbox fans will boycott Tomb Raider to protest the moneyhatting of multiplatform franchises then?
This is my thought as well.
Whoa, I had no idea Microsoft had out money down on tournament exclusivity. Wonder how that will pan out for both players. This must be why the head of Xbox Japan resigned. I bet this was the final fucking straw for Redmond. No one expects Xbone to be a serious contender in Japan. They maintain a market there for one reason: keep the dozen or so Japanese IPs still vital in the west on Xbox. And then this goober goes a lets Sony buy exclusivity. Right after MS paid Evo who knows how much to make Xbone the official tournament console!
He's lucky to still have all 10 fingers. What a disaster.
There's no logical reason to think this.Probably just exclusive to the PS4 in Japan. Can't seeing Capcom go PS4 exclusive for WW too.
The producer of the series teased an unexpected announcement (rumored to not be the SF announcement) and Capcom filed a new trademark for DMC yesterday.
Sigh, nothing delusional about finding another "but how can Sony afford that?!" comment hilarious.
They are doing bad yes, but that doesn't necessarily mean that they can't afford to buy exclusivity/finance the development of a game. If they can greenlight a new project for one of their studios and fund the development of it then why is it such a strange idea that they'd eventually have gotten a deal like this one? It's the same stuff.
If that's the case then how big is Street Fighter really outside of that niche scene? Who ever says "we can't develop this amazing selling game because we have no money" when the game should pay for itself and then some?
A fan asked Ono on Twitter if he was secretly working on Street Fighter V for next-generation consoles, to which the designer replied, "I don't have R&D budget and staff."
I don't think false flag means what you think it means.
