SFV PS4 console exclusive is already bigger news than anything they showed at E3 (since Bloodborne was leaked before the event).

The thing is we knew they were gonna make Bloodborne or some 'Souls' successor for PS4

I didn't even expect them to announce SFV THIS early, the same year Ultra SFIV releases. I didn't expect it to be PS4 console exclusive, but at the same time, it still isn't the only 'Playstation exclusive' 3rd party fighting game. Guilty Gear Xrd is PS3/PS4 only as well. Feels like Capcom is cutting their loses and going "Well the PS4 version is probably gonna sell more anyway, especially in Japan, so whatever we'll take Sony's money."

Shit. I made plans for tomorrow thinking that this thing would be absurdly late in the UK (like these things usually are). Just found out it's at 6pm and there's no way i will be home by then.

I'll have to avoid news of the event until i get home and then watch the event (as i like seeing announcements as they happen). Is anyone doing a spoiler-free thread like people sometimes do for E3? Would be highly appreciated.

It sucks when big announcements like this gets leaked in advance. If it's a mistake done by PR or something, then so be it, but if it's someone leaking it on purpose then fuck that piece of shit. Hopefully this will be the last leak and there'll be more stuff for the show.

It doesn't look anything like SotC's art, but that did start out as an online game. It was going to be a four player online game where you were working together to take down enemies. Ueda ended up deciding against it because it wasn't working as well as he thought, and because he just felt that it'd be better as a single player game.
