It doesn't look anything like SotC's art, but that did start out as an online game. It was going to be a four player online game where you were working together to take down enemies. Ueda ended up deciding against it because it wasn't working as well as he thought, and because he just felt that it'd be better as a single player game.

I was thinking a SotC MMO.

But a SotC designed around 4 player co-op and teamwork would be pretty dope.

I don't think Sony is going to send a press release about their first party game announcement at PSX. But who knows.

Of course they will, they always do. It's how websites have trailers to stream when a game is announced.

I'm not saying it will be a first party game though, I have no idea, just that his post gives no indication either way. Although Sony do not have a franchise that's revival is bigger news than SF5 being exclusive, to me anyway. Sony could be publishing FFVIIR though, who knows.

• Dragon's Dogma Online trademark registered

• Emagon is about selling the special edition PS4s in Spain for children's charity
• A press release related to PSX was sent out that apparently contains news even larger in magnitude than the Street Fighter 5 news.
