The other games are have been touched up for the new generation sure, but Pokemon is a complete remake with massive amounts of new content, new music, modernized gameplay, new story elements, hell even whole cities have been redesigned. It does the most work remastering the original and does it incredibly well.

The Last of Us will probably win but its pretty much the same game as last year.

I always thought a remaster was more in line with The Last of Us PS4 and GTA V, not Pokemon. Pokemon is, as you say, a remake.

Was hoping there would be a dress code. As much as I like casual wear, especially in a work environment, it's nice to have an awards show where people dress up, especially if you're trying for a more serious show that is about the art and the creators. I mean, I guess we can't expect it to be something it won't be especially when the only reason people will be watching is for the trailers. But you know, with an award that classy maybe next year the show can match it.

There are less women in the jury because there are less women leading the main big gaming journalism outlets.

They didn't and they shouldn't select people depending on their gender, they selected the main people of the main outlets without considering their gender as it should be.

You should ask more women to join and lead gaming journalism outlets because they deserve it, instead of asking to discriminate and replace the best candidates because of their gender.
