Ok, I'll break down what I think so far.

This is an honest attempt at making a true to gamers game show, by Geoff. He fronted the cost up front. He couldn't get all the expensive pros to run the sound, and the cuts, and all the other technical stuff. He gives a shit though. And it shows. All of the things in this show I give more of a shit about than the abomination that was last years VGAs.

I appreciate this from Geoff. I wish more people made an attempt like he is.

This, at least feels, genuine.

Yeah, I'll agree with this. Some of it's cringey, but you can tell it's because of inexperience rather than terrible pandering (the VGAs).
