I'm not sure what some people want out of this show. To me it seems like a nice mix if awards, trailers, and interviews so far. Technical issues aside, this is miles ahead of last year.

The problem is that Geoff is like Molyneux. He doesn't get that there's a limit to how much you should hype stuff if you can't deliver. 18 world premiers makes people think there's going to be bombs dropping, but in reality it's just a decent awards show. So yes people are disappointed because the expectations were set too high.
