Did Geoff give the first 2 people who walked in 10bucks to do Camera and Sound?

If Geoff really financed most of the VGA with his own funds .. We're talking incredibly expensive stuff here.

A Camera and sound crew (about 5 peeps including a floor director) with moderate experience (let alone the really good kind of crew) would run you 50k easy for the event, not counting the rental of the equipment, the room, the fares for the guests (plane tickets, food, hotel room), etc.

Of course the commercials would probably offset a lot of the cost but darn ... risky venture still.
