Completing Classic on 9.0 with no deaths is the single worst challenge possibly in Smash history.

Boss battles on intense was cake compared to this ugh.

Just died as Ike because i go to smash a fighting Mii off the stage and an explosive capsule spawns right in the path of the hit killing me and ruining another attempt at this ridiculous challenge.

I'm even more annoyed you can't hammer it, don't bother putting in hammers at all if you're going to block certain challenges from being hammered.

I should become a gambler. Been betting money on spectate matches this whole time and haven't lost once. I always bet on the ones with the lowest win rate too :p

Gonna end it right there, I can't even do my moves correctly lol, on my WiFi we gamed just fine. You're the first lag I've had since getting the man adaptwr

Got disconnected. Sorry about that bro. Guess I got to restart my connection first.

GGs Monster Zero! Even if the inputs are laggy. Can't get over that Kirby lol

Edit: Guess it's distance problem. Has also been smooth in For Glory the whole day against Japanese players.

Pokey is that you? {/Gumbyvoice}

I'd like to get amiibos for ZSS, WFT, Palutena (icon!), Sheik, Toon Link and Sonic, but none of those are out yet, right?

EDIT: Oh, looks like I can get WFT. Neat. Then Sonic and Toon Link in February.

Guys, I probably know the answer myself, but I'd like to have some confirmation regarding the GameCube controller adapter. I know the adapter doesn't work for any other Wii U game and other software. But I don't know if this also applies to the Virtual Console? And specifically, the Wii VC on Wii Mode. Will it still register as a GameCube or Classic Pro controller, or will it just not register at all? I'm inclined to think the latter, so I'll probably need to buy an older Wii Classic controller to play VC games on Wii Mode, right? But confirmation would be nice.

Quick question, how on earth does anyone get Jigglypuff to work? Didn't manage a single KO with her and got bashed from pillar to post.
I am not an expert or even a veteran, but I have invested a lot of time with Jigglypuff.

Stay in the air as much as possible. Side-B is strong and makes you pause in mid fall. Up-Smash is strong. Try to be sneaky with the normal special by changing which way you roll, just don't roll off an edge. ;)

By far the easiest way to KO is with Rest (down-B). It has zero range and must have contact at moment of button press. Wait until you touch them in the air or simply duck next to them (instead of shielding) when they try to grab. If they are at 60% or higher, it's pretty much a KO. Jigglypuff can literally duck under almost everything. Even only a few characters can grab you when ducking. It's hilarious. So duck instead of shield often.

How important is the LAN adapter? About half my matches have lag. But I'd like to think I have decent interment. :(

50ms Ping
35.70Mbps down
11.60Mbps up
What are you using to test? 50ms ping is relatively poor for a test. For example, my speed tests (using the ookla speedtest.net app over wifi) give me 15-20ms to Toronto.

That is hilarious. But I presume it doesn't help against down smashes?

The back air of Jigglypuff is pretty strong, it can KO a lot of character at 100% or even less. Also at 100% or more, you can use is up + b, most of the time if not always, the opponent won't have enough time to wake up and you can easily Fsmash them (except if this a CPU).

Stupid question, but shouId I jump with a button or with the stick?

Almost everyone will tell you to use the button, but personally I've always used stick jump. I recently tried turning off stick jump and using the button but it was too hard to adapt so I turned it on again.

It's something that you need to decide for yourself.

Go to training room and see if you can do up tilt easily or not. If you can't do up tilt constantly without jumping then it might be better idea to set it as button.

I know some guys that can do up tilt constantly without jump with stick jump.

I tried for so long to stay with stick jump, but it is almost impossible to do up tilts without jumping. On the pro controller, you have to just ever so slightly tilt up. It's ridiculous. Anything more than an amount you would get from just resting your thumb a bit up causes a jump.

Oh well. Button jump was an easy switch.

Not really, on the 3DS version it was way smoother, I don't even understand. I'm still waiting my ethernet adaptator, that should fix some things.

Come on back I want to see something. Sometimes when I get really laggy I just need to reset my router. I'm hosting.

New guy came in while I waited. Gonna just play him a bit. Thought it was you first
