It's one penny too cheap for free shipping. WTF
Your posts come across as very petulant.
Manners are free, you know.
What hyperbole? The game was promised at release as part of PS+ and that was a major factor in my console decision. Over a year later and that promise is still unfulfilled even after that delay.
Company deserves to go under.

That hyperbole.
What's incredibly hilarious is that you haven't paid a cent towards Driveclub and you're still irrationally upset about it.
Again, get a grip.
LMAO
My free game! Boo hoo!
My posts come across like someone who can't stand the apologists for this.
People can't seem to stop stroking developers and worshiping them up and some pedestal, realizing these are companies that promised a product and did not deliver, and should suffer the consequences of that.
Why would anyone buy an unplayable game?
Not free. I paid for a subscription service that was to include the game.
You guys really need to learn what free is.
Poor you.
Perhaps next time you shouldn't buy something until its actually available.
Once again consoles are bought on promises and potential. This is par for the course, and obviously they won't always meet those promises. But this goes beyond any reasonable level of missing the mark.
It's fine. You can keep loving them and I'll enjoy watching them fold.
So you used "free" to mean something other than what the word free means?
You don't grasp the English language then?
Carry on then.
I didn't miss anything. It fits no definition of the word. Not a single literal or otherwise.
It doesn't need to fit the definition. It is "free" as in "not actually free". It's in quotes because it doesn't meet the definition but can be recognized in a similar way.
To someone who has PS+ and views the bonus games per month as boon rather than the primary expectation for subbing, it is 'free'. But it literally is not free for reasons you already stated.
This isn't a radical use of the language or anything.
Is that the nice way of saying it has a metacritic score of 71?Ah most reviews were a 7 or higher ,so yeah I agree listen to the reviews
It is radical use. It is not free. It is not a bonus. It is part of the subscription service being paid for.

Do you not understand what it means to put quotes around a word or phrase?
If I had to pick between the two of us, I'd rather be me, and unlike you, I paid $50 for Driveclub, right when it launched.
I can only imagine how upset you'd be if a game you actually bought didn't meet your expectations.
I do, and that usage really doesn't apply here. Because it is literally the opposite of free. It isn't "free" like you paid for something but got a rebate or a gift card for the amount paid. It is not free in any sense, quotes or not.
Honestly, I'd probably pull the trigger on this had I had a chance to try the game via PS+ like I originally planned to. As it stands I'll continue to wait for that version before deciding whether or not the full game is for me (as I've always said). Pls Sony.
edit: holy shit some of you need to chill out.
Is there a demo I can test out before buying?
There's always Redbox.I'd buy it if I like the Plus version.
Seeing as I haven't been able to try the Plus version yet I'll have to hold off for now.

But I did buy it. As part of the subscription I pay for. So your point makes no sense.
Come back to us with that when they actually get with the times and stock PS4/XB1 games! There's always Redbox.![]()

That sucks.True, true, though I don't think any of the Redbox kiosks near me (Columbus, OH) carry PS4 games. I could be wrong.
Honestly though, my backlog is so large and unmanageable now that I can wait a bit longer to check this out![]()
Damn, most of the ones near me stock PS4 games. That's how I played DC and COD: AW.Come back to us with that when they actually get with the times and stock PS4/XB1 games!
Seriously, worst thing about this generational shift versus prior ones, Blockbuster basically collapsed, mom and pop rental stores are far scarcer, and so you're stuck either with GameFly and luck of the draw or Redbox, and Redbox is really taking its time getting new consoles stocked likely because it's just a single kiosk that can't hold a lot of stuff (also why I kind of hate them as a rental option.)
Redbox doesn't stock PS4 games near me yet![]()
Just bought. Am prepared to be highly disappointed.
Price drop + weather patch.

Neither does your definition of what you claim to have "bought".I didn't miss anything. It fits no definition of the word. Not a single literal or otherwise.
