I just bought the game yesterday, and by God, the visuals are astonishing, and incredibly photorealistic with the weather patch.

I am having so much fun with this.

Anyone with even an inclination for driving titles MUST buy Driveclub.

It is effing amazing.

Only drawback is I need a club to join.

Any free on GAF? :)
 
I want to play this so badly. It's going to be a long wait for me before I can get my hands on this game though, because I was planning to buy the PS4 when The Order 1886 launches in February.

I'm uploading the cockpit view of the same run, hopefully with the replay mode I won't have to do the same thing over and over again for separate points of view. I could barely contain the piss inside me from all the water pouring over my TV screen.

Exactly, chase cam, short for camera. Rain hitting the screen in chase-cam makes complete sense.

Yeah, that shot really is incredible. It's the kind of shot that reminds me of how far games have come, graphically.
 
Rain droplets accumulating into a water surface that shifts side to side on a windshield as you steer the car sharply pretty much floored me.

lol, yeah, replay mode is definitely most needed. The heavy rain flow isn't even the worst thing in the game too, I can barely stay within the road on Norway in the blizzard at night.

This looks absolutely incredible, without a doubt the best ingame rain I have ever seen. I hope the problems gets sorted and we get the ps+ Version soon though, still not going to buy it before I get can try it first and see how well it works.

I was hoping for an option to turn off droplets in chase cam view, but this makes sense. If they made such an option it should only be in a SP free-play kind of mode (don't have the game - yet - so I am not familiar with the modes and names).
 
With how well this game looks in motion, the sense of speed, the tight controls. Sorry but fuck 60fps in Gran Turismo 7 or whichever we are at, make it as good looking as possible.

Maybe the physics simulation of the GT series would require sharper frame timing and such so it would have to be 60. But if they can replicate this games sense of speed and controls at 30fps, just fine by me

Imagine if they released the game in the condition it is in now? They fixed a lot. With the weather+online working+game play fixes? Easily a 9/10 racing game for me if not higher. I love it.
