Yes, they don't own CBS though. They have a good relationship with them. As stated before they co-own CW with CBS and WB has a lot of shows that air on CBS. Supergirl being on CBS isn't going to stop Ollie and Barry from stopping by.

Good still hoping for a Suicide Squad spin off with Deadshot and Slade.

Yup, CBS's best show is Person of Interest which is made by WB.

My theory:

Wells went back in time to try to make Flash a weaker hero by killing Barry's mom, making him more emotional and one up him. Barry tried to stop him but could only save himself and has ended up in the future.

Fuuuuuccckkkk!

I was convinced that wells was the Reverse Flash up until he was getting his ass beat. So I'm like "we'll I guess he's not" . Then the ending...

Fuuuuuccckkkk. My head.

Firestorm is so fucking cool. Series regular that badass, start building a Justice League.

I'm not sure about Wells. The way he talks when fighting Barry makes him seem like Thawne P. Zoom but the comment about Nora and the way Wells acts in general is far more like Hunter Zolomon. Also how he managed to fight himself was a bit strange. Still a lot of mystery about. I'm thinking Eddie is probably going to get turned into Zoom at some point.

PS. The second speedster when Nora died was Barry guys.

Just finished.

Fuuuuuuuuuuuu...awesome!!

Even with all the amazingly cool stuff...Reverse Flash, Wells, the fights, the scene with dad was really good, friendzones, yellow and red at mom's death etc. I think I am most geeking out about Firestorm. Love the character and it was goddamn amazing seeing him kick some ass and then fly off. So good

Great episode, but the last few minutes felt like a let down after the awesome 40 minutes that preceded it. I loved how scary and badass they made Reverse Flash though. And Firestorm looks awesome.

But, in 2015, the Rogue swag is back.

Gotta say, I loved the Joe West and Barry scene near the end. So good.

Brought on the feels for reals.

Kinda wish it wasn't Wells. I'm gonna miss him when he's gone, though Firestorm might help fill that eventual loss. Everything I hear about his character sounds neat.

btw, it was funny how much Robbie Amell looked like Island Oliver from Arrow. Kept expecting him to say, "Caitlin, for five years..."

Kelsey Grammar as Grodd. CW plz.

this was honestly a top 3 episode of Arrow or Flash for me.

That would be SO FUCKING AMAZING! Even if they can't get Grammar, they need to find somebody who can pull off that "cultured badass" sound.

Better effects than a movie with a 130 million dollar budget

I've been thinking about how Flash manages to have such incredible special effects considering the budget, and I think the trick is in implementation. They're very good with their camera angles and overall shot composition so they can get the most bang for their buck, CGI wise.

Grant Gustin is so damn good in this role man. Not only is he a great Barry but he's leagues better than Amell.
That prison scene with his dad, his anger.

This episode brought all the damn feels.Great action, RF.
I don't know how anything Arrow or Flash will ever top this.

Maybe Wells can only use his powers temporarily or something. We've seen before he killed without super speed so it's a little strange. But at the end he did the voice, but also wants to be able to give powers to people? I'm so confused.

Maybe his knowledge extends past the future and into the Fourth Wall. He killed that guy with a knife to throw the viewers off his scent!

WELLS IS WATCHING.

Trying to wrap my head around the time travel aspect. That tachyon device most likely has some temporal manipulation powers, right? Why would a speedster need that if one can already travel through time using speed alone?

I'm only worried the time travel stuff could get extremely confusing as it is wont to do. Very curious as to how this will play out and I'd expect the conflict with RF to span the whole series as it should given his role as arch-nemesis.

Curious what they'll do with Firestorm. I know how his origin works and it seems to fit thus far to a degree with him saying he's not Ronnie. I guess we'll have to wait for an episode devoted to him to get the full story on what happened that night.

I'm thinking that device Wells uses at the end could perhaps be the series version of the Cosmic Treadmill in that it charges the suits to enable them to time travel.

Yea I get the impression from what they said about it and how he attached it to the suit that it's both a source of power/energy and protection.

I think it'll be a twist on Arrow and the Dark Archer. Reverse Flash will bite the dust but we'll get Eddie Thawne as Zoom. Wells didn't kill Eddie and wants to be able to bestow powers on people.

What an awesome episode. B+ my ass. But I'm confused. Are there two incarnations of Wells? Because he could be fast enough to beat himself up as Barry wasn't there to watch, but standing opposite of each other. No way.

So either there are

*two versions of Harrison Wells, one younger, one older
*He went back in time to make it look like he could not be the Reverse Flash
*There is a Reverse Flash and another speedster. Would explain why he spared Eddie

That's....pretty damn ridiculous.

the thing that holds him back is that Ronnie in the comics is just for lack of a better term a dumb jock. a nice guy but no super-genius.

well in the comics, Professor Zoom/Reverse-Flash (whatever you want to call him) is Eobard Thawne and he uses the Speed Force to travel thru time.
Zoom (Hunter Solomon) had an accident with the cosmic treadmill and it infused him with the ability to move through time. so didn't actually have super-speed he just jumped ahead in time of everyone else.

Caught up on the season after seeing so many positive reviews and well.....disappointed in a way cause it is just as dumb as i expected but it is a fun show. Was kinda hoping for something more, but i guess they suitably check off all the boxes for what would make an entertaining superhero show.

I guess what makes it work is the action and effects are actually pretty good for a TV show and they do creative things with the ideas. But god if all the meladrama doesnt make me cringe like a motherfucka. Still an all around fun show though. Ill keep watching to see what the plot twists bring.

It does make a bit more sense then a treadmill, which could come across as a bit silly potentially.

I wonder since the Dark Archer doesn't come across as much of a big bad to me like RF does. I do think it's possible we'll get ourselves a Zoom as well, which will further complicate things.

I'm curious why Wells seems to be making it so all these heroes and villains exist unless it's to create the time he comes from, which I guess would make sense.

Actually, I believe it works like this...

Dr. Wells in the present timeline is not or was not the Reverse Flash, until just now. It's a time loop. Reverse Flash fro the future had to come back to this time to help him obtain the tachyon deice, which is in turn what allows Dr. Wells to become Reverse Flash.

That is my belief. He had to come back to make sure he got the abilities. It is a closed loop.

Also, remember that Wells is still not "evil" evil. If he were, he were not concerned with Flash going missing in the future.

His goal is to help Flash become better, that is for sure. And to gain his own powers too, I guess.

What if eddie and wells are working together? Do reverse flash is still eddie but from the future.

Edit: nvm. I remember he did the voice lol
