We don't have as many options in the Netherlands. Only McDonald's, Burger King and KFC have stood the test of time. Taco Bell went bankrupt for the 2nd time recently. Then there's 2 pizza franchises Domino's and NY Pizza that are successful.
Can't say I'm a huge fan, but I do like some of the limited offer burgers at Burger King, like Crispy Bacon Chipotle. McDonald's hamburgers feels like they shrunk half of the size of what they were 2 decades ago, while the price is the same as Burger King.

I've had a culvers next to my house for 20 years and I've still never tried them. I walked in once, looked at the menu and just walked out.

I don't get it. Looks like a bunch of fat burgers. I don't understand the praise

Braums. Its a chain from Oklahoma branching out to nearby states. They have their own dairy farm and bakery. The meat is locally sourced too. So when you get a burger it's all fresh and local. You know what's in it and where it comes from. The patties are fatter than most fast food chains. They also have a little grocery store in their restaurants so you can get their ice cream, milk, baked goods, meat, etc.

does your local chinese food place that isn't panda express count as fast food?
or is fast chinese food just too OP that its in its own tier.

OP specified "chain" so that would eliminate any restaurant that doesn't have multiple locations. So yeah, only something like Panda Express would count, but not any individual restaurant that is solely confined to one establishment.

MAX (Sweden)

They don't even serve proper burgers, 70% meat, potatoe powder and various other things in their patties, with the disguuuuusting middle click of beef fat. Sounds good on paper, pops like a zit in your mouth because they undercook it. Absolutely worst trash tier burger joint I have ever been to unfortunately in modern times (they *used* to be super good, back in the mid 90's when they started. I went to their first restaurant, holy smokes, that burger still haunts my memory because of how good it was, but back then, it was 100% beef and semi-smash, not what they have turned into, meatloaf type burgers, always undercooked too).

MAX is nowadays *hurl* style of burgers, your local McDonalds does way better.

This is modern MAX.

Fucking boiled patty with a click of beef bouillon in the middle, it's disguuuuuusting. They don't even toast their buns. Over 12 bucks for a regular burger. nIt is gross, I have no idea why people still enjoy this chain, it should die a horrible death in gross hamburger hell.

Fun story time, for Sweden, a decent Sibylla or Solna korv has them beat. Solna Korv in Upplands Bro is world wide known for the tunnbrödsrullar. Love the owner, Faroukh, help alot in the local community too, this is where Foxtrot, yeah, the internationally known gang (terrorists, bombs everywhere, involved in drugs internationally, responsible for tons of murders, they are also known as "Upplands Bro nätverket"), was born, he has always tried to steer young kids away from them, and have been at the receiving end of attacks/beatings/threats... Who knew drug gangs could hate a simple meat flipper so much? :P

I personally don't like tunnbrödsrullar (hotdogs rolled in a pita type bread, with mash, shrimp sallad, and onion typically), it is just too much for me. But it is a Swedish style of proper fastfood.. :P

My favourite is suprisingly a US chain, their tuna pita roll is awesome, with garlic toum sauce.. :o (Tuna steak roll - grilled ahi tuna steak, greens, onions, turnips, pickles, curry spice, and garlic toum sauce).

My second favourite in the world is the Spanish chain Romerijo., trash tier seafood joint, but they can do some stuff right. Also, trash tier Spanish means top tier EU/US.

This is proper fast food, you can order a cone of anything to enjoy.

even though its kind of shit, for some reason, I just keep going back to Charleys. even though subs are the lowest forms of fastfood
their wings are actually decent though

McDonald's, because they have the best event specials out of the ones that operate in Germany.

also the M burger and the Double Steakhouse are amazing.

I moved out Texas about 7 years agoand haven't had it since, but a few days ago I was craving a braum's burger and limeade.

Portillo's, no the beef isn't as good as a Chicago staple like Johnnie's or Mr Beef but it's damn good for a fast food beef. Their fries are always perfectly salted, the shakes are great, and the burgers are low key their best item.

It's good

I keep forgetting we have one in California. I've only been to it in Chicago, but I go every time I'm in Chicago. Pretty much everything is good. Even their burgers and cheese fries and cake shake and hot dogs etc

Well haven't been to MAX or McDonalds or BurgerKing in many years, but when I did MAX was the best, guess they have declined if that's the case.
Also I usually only went to McDonalds when they had Mc Tasty on the menu, but over the years it lost its flavors tasting nothing in special in the end.

Lappens Grill (for tunnbrödsrullar, strips, hamburgare, varmkorv etc), but its not a chain, just a local place that was always great, not sure if it still is great not been for even longer then MAX, McDonalds, BurgerKing.

Not a seafood person at all, I barely eat fish.
