i recommend TRU. ordered most wave 1 there from the 3 for $10 each and not a single defect. only Fox was shipped in an unusual box and the packager bent the box to fit it. the rest were fine.

My experience as well. For some reason, BB sent Marth solo, in a nice small box. The rest were sent all together, in a large box arranged neatly.
BB knew Marth was going to be special
I've preordered my Shulk at my local EB about 2 weeks ago. Australian here if that is of any help.

The first part of Wave 2 will be releasing on the 12th, with the second half at the end of the month [apparently].

It looks like Wave 2 will be a lot harder to get a hold of than Wave 1 during launch. With the interest being so high now, I'm sure everyone will be there day 1 to pick through all the good figures. I don't have any interest in any of the Wave 2 figures, but now I'm worried about my chances for Wave 3 if the hype continues to grow.

Other than the exclusives I've got the ones I want the most preordered. Got to hit Best Buy next and wait for the opportunity to preorder the rest...I'm not terribly worried about Lucario though. It's a pokemon and so shouldn't be limited to just the first wave.

Nah, you still wreck the box, its just "hidden". Looks good on display but I doubt true collectors would be happy with it. Basically, stick a knife under the plastic from the bottom, and go up the sides. Sorry, don't have a link.
Letter opener will do the same thing.

Last of the wave 1 amiibos I want! Got him for £13 including postage from an german ebay seller. Fuck paying the £25 price tag that the scalpers on amazon are asking for!

This was the section of amiibo at Toys R us in Cleveland Ohio today, They had every amiibo except wiifit trainer, marth, villager and they only had one star fox left. They had tons of the others though as you can see.

That's why I'm afraid to buy Diddy online. The eyes looked bad in the few pics I've seen.
Yeah, I was stunned when I walked into the Addison, TX Toys R Us on Sunday and found the same size display - an entire isle of nothing but amiibos, and at minimum 8 pegs for each character, 5 amiibos per peg. Except for Villager, WFT, and Marth - those three had one peg each, at the very bottom row of pegs, and were of course empty. Compare that to the last wal-mart, where they had 3 amiibos jammed in one of their junk accessory sections, not even pegs around representing the empty stock of other characters.
