Same with mine when I checked last night. I'd honestly suspect that with the specific ones highlighted in the flyer, most stores aren't going to put them out early; but it never hurts to check. YMMV.
I don't know how much credence to lend to it, but my friend who's a retail rep for Nintendo said that Pit and Luigi are next Friday. However there is no certain date for Captain Falcon.
Same here, I swung by target, best buy, toysrus, Walmart, and gamestop (4 of the stores were in the same plaza) and no one here had any. Where are you guys who have had already found them, which part of the country are you located?

I think the hunt is what is keeping me coming back for more. I had a bunch of pre-orders set and decided to scale it down to just Mega Man and Meta Knight. For the others, I'm just going to go in store with no expectations and hope to be pleasantly surprised (happened with WFT for me as well). It's almost recreating the magic of running across a cool TMNT action figure from my youth.
Diddy Kong's eyes look pretty derpy. That comes from firsthand experience. People here are saying Little Mac and Captain Falcon are going to probably be the most rare.
Okay, thanks, guys. I will skip going there today sice I'm already home from work and tomorrow I will go when I'm off. Then if not there then, I will go back early both Sturday and Sunday until I find at Beat Buy, lol. I have that GCU thing so if really prefer to get them there....
So I went to a Target, two wal-marts, one Best Buy and one Toys R Us in South California (San Ysidro) and no Villagers, Marths or WFT around the place. I also arrived when they where restocking Wal-Mart and all they had had more of the usual suspects (Mario, Yoshi, Peach, Link, PIkachu and Fox).
DIddy and Little Mac are already Sold-Out everywhere, so if you see them in store and want them, buy them.

Finite shelf space means some Amiibos won't return for a long while, as the shelf will be filled with the newer ones and the more likely to sell ones.
I'm just going to assume that they are probably not discontinued but they will barely restock and/or it will take a long ass time, so by the time it's restocked they will be snatched right up.

That's how I understand it. I would bet Fox (and eventually Falco) return around the time Star Fox launches, maybe the Pokémon return once a new Pokémon game comes out, etc.
I saw one at TRU today. Just one. A bunch of Zelda, no Diddy, Mac, or Falcon.
At the ToysRUs I went to, they had Diddy, Little Mac, and Zelda for wave 2. Everything seemed to be recently stocked full. Diddy had the least amount of dedicated space, Zelda had the most. Don't know if that's going to be the trend, or if that was just this one store.

Almost at 100 pages.....what is up with toys r us.com (usa)and their amiibos.? They are all sold on and all of wave 2 is not even listed. They are a toy store for dang sakes. Scalpers gon scalp
I've only seen seven. All had rusty shins and boots (they dont't look yellow/gold). Detail of the falcon emblem on his helmet varies too but most were ok.

Sounds perfectly reasonable to me. Kiddos can't handle too much Falcon.
Zelda,Diddy and Little Mac are already for sale. The other part of wave two comes later this month.

I was surprised at how many Little Macs TRU had. I thought that would be a rare one (maybe it will be) but, from the looks of things, Diddy Kong may be the one that's tough to track down.
EDIT: Looks like, while I was out, everyone else figured this out before me.

Thanks for the heads-ups guys, I also checked online and only Target had them online for pre-order, so I went ahead and bought 3 DIddy Kong and one Zelda, hopefully I can find 2 little macs since I need to supply those.
And before you judge me, I sell them at my store in Mexico for 18 bucks, that is a lot cheaper than what they usually go for here and all this are already paid for. I actually respected the prices for Villager and Marth after they shoot out on price and sold them for that to the people who pre-order them x).
So I just called my local Best Buy, and the lady said that their computer system is showing a release date of the 14th for Zelda, Diddy, and Mac. She said they were not out on the shelves yet and that most best buys probably won't have them out until then. So unless anyone else can prove me wrong, I would imagine you can't get it at Best Buy until Sunday. But I'm going to check Friday and Saturday anyway just in case, LOL

Just called my Gamestop, was told if I don't have preorders on W2 it will be extremely tight.
So probably around 88 or so. Wow.

I pre-ordered W3 last night and they told me that they never even took pre-orders on W2. GAMESTOP IS EITHER LYING TO ME OR LYING TO YOU!!!
That would be awesome! same here. I'm currently looking for work so I have a lot of time to search for wave 2 figures if there's something you can't get. Toys r us just told me Sunday is when they're allowed to sell them.
Anyone know when TRU is shipping these? I preordered some of Wave 2 online and it's ship to home. Haven't heard of anything happening yet, and I'm beginning to get paranoid they oversold online.

My daughter wants a villager. She waited until they became rare and fetched a fortune.
I ordered 4 from Toys R Us and I'm waiting for them to go through (Probably won't T_T), if they do I'll let you know and give you one at the cost x), the other 3 are one for me, one too sell and the other for a friend who wanted it.
