Guys, a question: a friend of mine offered me his 2nd-hand Driveclub cheaper than if I buy it new but under the stipulation of "Code Used". What does it mean? What code? DLC? Can I purchase it individually if I buy his Driveclub copy?

Cheaper than $35 on Amazon? The code might be the preorder cars. You can't buy those anywhere

I have no idea what code he's talking about. But then again I don't know what country you're from. Here in North America, I bought it digitally and there was no bonuses for pre-ordering. Maybe it was a retail code exclusive...? No idea.

Nothing substantial, or are they super-cool cars that I'll regret not getting? Hahaha.

It's an R3 copy, btw.
 
Bought NFSR at launch with the B2G1 from Target....needed a racer since then...had to take the plunge. Purchase completed. I'll be trash for a little bit I'm sure but oh well. Add me! PSN IS Coopdeville91
 
It's a little bit strange but I think it's easier to drift on wet roads. Grip loss happens quicker than on dry roads but it seems to me it's much more gradual and that makes it easier to handle for me.

Driving the Audi R8 under the rain is a pure delight... Wow I'm in love.

I did an online race this morning, on one of the Scottish road circuits that circumnavigates a Loch, with dynamic weather on in an Audi R8.

It was stunning, it was raining heavily on one side of the Loch, and dry on the other, not only was the visual affect seriously dramatic, the transition visual from raining to dry was truely jaw dropping, but the affect of the reduced grip on one half of the track was what really kept you on your toes.

Anyone out there on the fence about this game, don't be, even if you don't like racing games that much, this is serious next-gen stuff, this is the future, get onboard.
 
So after a month or more of not playing this game due to it just getting on my nerves, I brought the ps4 into my newly decorated lounge, sat in my new lounger (strategically located centrally in front of the TV) and fired up the new DC on my semi new 55 inch TV.

Ferrari FF time trial on my favourite Norway track. Heavy rain.

The lack of grip under braking and drifting. The large amounts of water washing across the screen while cornering at high speed.

It was a.......rather pleasant experiece.
 
There was a great deal going on this morning for DriveClub and Fifa '15 at £40 combined, so I went for it. Will sell Fifa for probably £30 or so as soon as I get it and that's an absolute bargain right there. I didn't envision myself buying this game at all after all the terrible press it got at launch, but this recent renaissance in interest it's received has spurred me on to take the plunge. That weather is just too impossible to ignore.

Hey Viveks, do you know something about how the replay mode will be? ... will it be more realistic, like gran turismo, or more action, like a top gear show? ... or both?

Any chance of a replay editor?

This game is so beautiful that the absent of replays is a sin.
