I was so hyped, I bought 3 Zeldas from 2 retailers. I didn't even remember I ordered so many till I got the shipping notice just now. Lol.
 
Checked my local Australian stores today, word is Zelda, Little Mac and Captain Falcon sold out instantly at 9am and the one EBGames in Brisbane even reported a few Asians waiting at 4am in the morning or some shit. Obvious scalpers since all three of these figures are up on eBay and going for $80+

Crazy times.

I had Zelda, Little Mac and Captain Falcon pre-ordered and I grabbed Pit and Fox as well just because they didn't have many of them left. Between the ones people have for me for Christmas etc and the others I've already got I'm only missing 4 from the set now!

Bonus Samus the cat in the background. <3

Second Little Mac is for my brother's birthday! Controller and game are from Play-Asia but I got them all today so its still awesome and still counts. White controller ftw! I love it, glad I waited for the superior one. :P

Stock levels are ok'ish round here (Wellington, New Zealand) if you get in early, but I pre-order the super must have important ones anyway just in case. Not worth being disappointed.

Wave 3 has so many of those ones for me lol.

My Zelda is a little derpy in the eye department, is that normal or should I try and swap her? :( Its a shame, she is one of my most fav characters in general and I was really looking forward to her Amiibo - but her face is a bit disappointing. Seems like her eyes are too low or something.
 
Got 2 Villagers from the Nintendo store!

If my Murabito/Villager shows up from Play Asia, I'll sell it on at a normal price.
 
Having looked at my amiibo collection, I wish Little Mac was bulkier and a bit taller. Villager, Kirby, and even Fox overpowers Little Mac because they've got more heft.
 
My GF got me Little Mac and Zelda from EBgames (Northern Ontario) today. She also found a single Diddy on the shelf at TRU but they wouldn't sell it to her. Said it wasn't suppose to be out until Friday. Although, they were kind enough to lock it up behind the customer service desk with her name on it to pick up tomorrow evening after she gets off work. Half of Wave 2 complete! Yay!
 
104K amiibos sold in Japan in the first week of sales. with the US number and the French forecast they are already over a million units.
 
I went to Nintendo World last night but they only had part of wave 2. I will have to head back next week for Falcon, Pitt, and Zelda.

Why are the amiibo waves so different for each region? It's all over the place.

If I understood correctly, the first wave of amiibo was the same for NA and EU, but NA got them 1 week ahead (because of Smash release date presumably).
But Japan got both Wave 1 + Wave 2 at the same time, but one week after Europe.

Wave 2 is now already out in the US, but the official release date was supposed to be December 14. Right?
But Australia is also selling them early? Aren't they officially part of Europe...?

I haven't heard reports of Wave 2 sightings in Europe yet. Official release date is December 19 here. I've got them all preordered but getting really paranoid now... What if they're already out there! I don't want to miss any of them :P.

That was pretty much my reaction too when she told me... Apparently, they couldn't sell them until the 12th... Not sure how it got on the shelf then. Although, EBgames was selling the Mac and Zelda since Wednesday.
 
Is Walmart (in the US) already selling Wave 2? I might have to stop by today before work since I didn't preorder Diddy at Best Buy.

Same thing happened to me at Target yesterday. I feel you lol.

No joke that has been answered in here probably 20 times. Did you happen to glance through the thread at all?

Different stores are releasing the first half of wave 2 starting today (some went early). TRU should be good to go today. Best Buy starts on the 14th.

Second half of wave 2 is slotted for 12/30

Yeah, the last time I came into the thread it was like page 60 so... lol

So it all seems like a clusterfuck. I guess I should check Target today.

I went to Target yesterday and saw they had some Zeldas and they also had a rack for L. Mac but it was empty. That leads me to believe they already started selling them early but I didn't bother to ask since I have both for preorder (I was looking for a Diddy figure).

That was actually my mistake.

I didn't have a clear number in my head when I entered the store, but I ended up with Little Mac, Donkey Kong, and Samus. I had also intended to grab a Zelda, but I didn't realize until I got home that I hadn't put one in my shopping bag.

The paint jobs looked great on all of the Zeldas, so I didn't put mental energy into her. I had been scouring both of the displays (first floor and second floor) for the best Samus and, when I went to actually check out, I had forgotten to put a Zelda in my shopping bag.
