Eh that's bullshit but sorta true. On release day I saw 3 Marth. I got one. Didn't know Nintendo won't restock ANY in Canada for 3 weeks. I sold it since the paint sucked and was hoping to be able to find another. Had to buy the Japanese one.

The stock should not be as full as the big characters but they should restock them still.

Honestly with the wii u doing as poorly as it is and amiibo's being specifically wii u toys at the moment Nintendo seems to really have underestimated how these would sell. It just seems they didn't want to get burned by overproducing like they did with the wii u. I hope after the initial 3 waves they kinda step back and reogranize themselves and produce more in the new waves plus release some of the past ones in more quantity.

I went to TRU in search of Wave 2, they only had Zelda, which I got. Asked the cashier and he said they got a whole box of Little Mac and Diddy each but they let one guy buy the whole lot. I was like why did you do that, he said they didn't have a limit unless it's in an ad or some crap.

Man you must've missed the thread about dk, samus and I think fox getting discontinued. The source was some guys friend who worked at a single target but people were acting like it was confirmed by Nintendo and were getting the pitchforks out. I think the low initial wave has put everyone on edge with this stuff

Yea I'm missing Fox and Yoshi still but I'm not too worried about them. Also still need Marth and Villager but I'm sure I'll get them at some point. Just nerve racking lol

This may be true. Friend in Australia just told me the stores in her area didn't even get Wave 2 and probably wont.

Edit: Also went to Target and Walmart today. Neither had any Wave 2 except for Target having Zelda. Employee told me they might get it tomorrow.

It's possible she was basing that entirely on the PR messages Nintendo has sent out, which indicates it's a possibility but not for certain. I have heard people telling me the same thing, like it's a fact, based off of Nintendo's "certain out of stock amiibos may return". Still encouraging though especially if she actually does have inside information.

The past couple of days I checked out two GameStop, Target, Walmart and Best Buy locations, in the Milwaukee & Waukesha area, and came up with zilch. One Target had pegs for Diddy, Pit and Little Mac, but they were cleaned out. I made one more stop to a Toys 'r Us, last night, and found a lot of Zelda figures. So, if anyone in the Brookfield, WI area needs a Zelda?... There ya go.

What's your problem? That you couldn't find Marth or WFT? Man you should have read this thread and saved yourself the time, they have been sold out for days now pretty much everywhere. If your problem is that you need Little Mac, gohastings still has it for preorder as of last night.

Maybe, maybe not lol. It's really a crapshoot. Nintendo really messed up with the shipping of these items. For instance, some stores are already selling them, and have for a couple days now. Whereas, some haven't. Like none of the stores near me are selling them yet. Hell, Gamestop said they don't know when they are coming but probably after Christmas.

Ask them if they can look for new or restock inventory and they tell you "what's on the sales floor is what we've got."

We got there when someone posted that his friend who works at Target said that his store wouldn't be getting any more Samus, Link or DK figures and, as a result, Nintendo had discontinued those figures. I hear that his uncle also works for Nintendo.

How funny that he's warning people not to let that happen, when he's actually causing that exact thing to happen by buying out the area's stock.

I actually saw two grown-ass men almost come to blows over a Little Mac today. They were screaming at each other, saying that the other had ruined their kids Christmas. Not because they wanted the Little Mac figurine but because both of them were planning to sell it on eBay. Security escorted them out of the store to the whistles and cat calls of other holiday shoppers.
