Moot kind of got tired of letting a white supremacist hate board fester on his site without repercussions. So he got rid of all the rules that kept /pol/ topical, and allowed it to be flooded by trolls.

I think /mu/ is awesome. I get on there pretty often for recs and opinions.

Also Ben Garrison had enough. /pol/ was defacing his cartoons with anti Semitic themes. He called out Moot as being a "master troll" who won't do anything to stop it on his blog after which Moot fucked up /pol/.
Huh. I had no idea that Ben Garrison wasn't actually a Neo-Nazi. His comics were posted her years ago, so I assumed.
Ya that's the damage /pol/ managed to inflict on his image.

It is the birthplace of almost anything funny on the internet it is the wild west and the wild west wasn't for the weak or feint of heart. I visit many of it's boards mostly the v and g sections. But the fact that it is unmodderated is the biggest breath of freash air, You can rant about your opinion without feeling like you are walking on eggshells because people are offended by everything these days. And lack of moderation prevents it from becoming a huge echo chamber.

Quick Google search shows that those are by a person writing under "A. Wyatt Mann". The logo was photoshopped on, and Ben Garrison's art is stylistically a little different.
Compare the shading styles and facial designs.
