You can get the Gamecube to Wii adaptor for €19.99 plus shipping from Amazon France: http://www.amazon.fr/dp/B00O9QW4JQ/

Shipping estimate is 3 - 5 weeks. Presumably this means there will be a restock all round in the New Year so maybe not worth it?

is it sure that they will restock it?
the smash bundle(with the adapter) was already discontinued and wont be restocked again.

iam not sure if nintendo will really produce another batch of them. but try it, these adapters go out for insane prices and bets are high that this product is going to become a hot seeked item in the future. already ordered one just in case.

There are some nice discounts currently available at GAME UK.

One that stood out to me was Fire Emblem Awakening for £18.99:-
http://www.game.co.uk/en/fire-emblem-awakening-202401
(Hopefully it wont be old ex-display stock, but i'll take a gamble for that price)

[EDIT]Also Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D for £14.99:-
http://www.game.co.uk/en/donkey-kong-country-returns-3d-216523
and Zelda A Link Between Worlds for £21.99:-

With the UK Smash + Adaptor thing, Amazon told a lot of us that our pre orders would be delayed until December 19th at 4am on the day of release. I then went off and got myself a different order (well 2 thanks to Shop2 being as incompetent as always), but over the last couple of weeks, people have had their already delayed orders cancelled with no notice from Amazon at all.

I received an email from amazon.de with a code 10€ off 50 € which i dont need. (cant be used on digital products)
Send a PM if you want to try it.

Edit: Gone

Fire Emblem has been price matched at Amazon.co.uk for those who missed the above deal. :)

It seems to be already discounted in some stores but not in others. Calling your store would probably be your best bet. It's also available online, so you could order and then collect in your local MM.

Oh, so it's another pack than what amazon sold, this one only has 5 games included, the amazon deal was for the 10 game pack that included WipeOut and Motorstorm... will look into it though.
(dumb question: I can play imported carts on this, if I understand correctly? region locking is only for the digital shop?)

There was loads of stuff at £2 apparently, did you see any of it?

Nice, just placed an order with Amazon - just in case GAME mess me about with an ex-display copy.

There was quite a few things priced at £2.00 (Even a 250GB PS3 Slim!) but they were all out of stock from the moment the price changed.

For example they had Paper Mario Sticker Star for £3.00, but it was out of stock - however its just come back in stock today just as the price was put up to £29.99.

In my opinion GAME just want people to think they missed out on some 'amazing' deals without actually selling anything for cheap. They change the product prices and list them as 'out of stock' at the same time in the middle of the night. AFAIK nobody was able to buy anything for the 'amazing' price - I assume they do it to increase traffic to their site.

The ridiculously named Saints Row IV: Super Dangerous Wub Wub Edition (PS3/XBOX360) is £21.99 at GAME.

First next gen game to reach 17.99 magic price point in less than 8 weeks after release? Have you finally reached the point where games start to go cheap quicker?

I do wonder if the magic 17.99 has actually changed to £24.99 as I've seen quite a few games dip to this point almost in the same timescale they dropped to £17.99 before - another obvious example is Alien Isolation which despite the good reviews dropped to that at around the same time after launch

Was in CEX yesterday and Watch Dogs is going for £12 on PS4 and X1. Not my cup of tea but the cheapest PS4 game I've seen yet (excluding Fifa 14, just £4!).

Yeah, they've got over 5k online stock. There's a reason for so many trade-ins if anyone is curious.

I expect so because the £17.99 point was largely proliferated by channel islands retailers as that was the VAT free limit back then (oh how I miss £18 VAT free limit...).

These were the most glorious days of the Cheap Arse Gaffer thread, so many deals to be had, it'll never be the same again ;(
