I actually wish all stores were releasing them on the same day the way Best Buy is (exception of Pit and Falcon since they were delayed). If ally he stores did this, we wouldn't be running around like animals.
I hope they do this again for Wave 3, and I'll go there on that exact date and get them.

Honestly I doubt it was a restock. They probably forgot them in the back... that walmart is pretty dumb. I price match a 3D world Wii U bundle for 60$ a few weeks ago.
I know that but so many people I see keep using those words and I can't spreading of false information when it comes to stuff like this. I have all the available amiibos(Including Pit and Capt. Falcon) except a locked down Rosalina and I don't want to feel like I missed her cause I know I haven't.

Oddly enough a few minutes the find in store link was available on the non-mobile site don't know why that was.... and I've check the site several times a day for over a month when it was a rumor that Rosalina would be exclusive I've had every amiibo preordered within less than an hour of them first becoming available I figured as soon as these things were announced they would be kinda difficult to come by for awhile and sadly it looks like I was right
Well, misinformation is a good thing for us, since a lot of people will just give up and wouldn't try to get it.
I'll sure as hell sleep every night at 3am for Rosalina.

The "L" is centered but the paint is a little chipped. Overall I would say Luigi is just average quality wise compared to the other Amiibos. I'm a Luigi fan though so I can look past his flaws.
I paid the money to order my villager from amazon.de just so the scalpers wouldn't get my money. I don't mind paying a little more, I just refuse to pay that extra to a scalper.
I'm still banking on Villager coming back to America in like March. Worse case, I'll pick up a similar Amiibo when the inevitable Animal Crossing Wii U game comes out.

Same here. I found Little Mac locally. I bought Zelda from Amazon.ca and they shipped it already. I have a pre-order with them for the other 4 of wave 2 (Luigi, Diddy, Falcon, Pit). I selected the option to group my items to save on shipping. Luigi shows a release date of December 31 and the other 3 don't show release dates at all so I'm guessing the hold up is Luigi. As soon as they'll get him they'll ship my order. What I find strange is that some people have apparently received their Luigis already.

Welp apparently Wave 3 amiibo are selling out at Bestbuy.com ... I had most preordered already but was waiting for some reward certificates to come through before I made my next purchase, so it looks like I missed out on Sonic.
Welp I just placed an order for the other 3 I needed to do (minus Rosalina of course), so... at least I have one to hunt down in February unless something comes up.

Amazon just seems to have issues with nintendo.
They seem to be one of the last places to ever get stock in from them.
The retail price is 42.99, I bought two in wholesale and they costed me 32.24, without taking shipping into consideration. I could pm you a pic if you want x), I wish I had ordered more, I sold them intermediately for $75 (I import, so that also gets a fee) and people won´t stop asking about them since one of them is waiting in my shelf waiting to be picked by the guy who paid for it.
They are impossible to get at wholesale price right now =(

Yeah if this Marth/Villager thing goes smoothly I will no longer worry about not getting the ones I want. I'm opening and using them anyway so the packaging is of little concern to me.

Only thing holding me back is I just know i'm going to order and then they'll magically appear all around me by the time I receive them.

I did this with WFT and no one was interested (Charging only packing, cost, and shipping), I'm willing to do it again, but I don't think most people are comfortable doing this here.

Because I just ordered them myself and they shipped out, so there's no going back...and with my luck, Play Asia won't let me cancel mine and then send 2 more that I won't be able to sell for what I paid for them to get here.
Yeah as my post above states I'd be down for doing this in heartbeat I love collaborative buying forums I buy and trade on many different forums steelbooks/anime/game collector sites/deal forums/etc...
