When did pit and falcon release? I checked and saw all targets in my area are out of stock. I'm guessing low numbers were shipped.

Just because a Target says out of stock. Doesn't necessarily mean they ever even had stock. Just that stock is going to be coming to that store. Pit and CPT falcon are slated for 12/30 in the US. Though they seem to slowly be popping up now at target at least. So tomorrow and this weekend the hunt begins.

It seems the port protests have impacted the shipping of these figures. They'll start hitting the shelves bit by bit. But yes I would bet on a low amount of figures being shipped.

THE WILD HUNT COMMENCES!

God I'm so weak....

Preordered Shulk, Ike, Toon Link, Sheik and Mega Man from GameStop. Then I preordered Toon Link, Sheik and Mega Man in case GS screws me over (Ike isn't available from BB as of now) and I figured I was good.....

Then I preordered another Ike from Walmart....

Then i wind up finding myself in a TRU preordering 2 Lucario, one for myself and one for a friend.

And then just now I preordered Meta Knight from BB, and Kind Dededed from Walmart....

SOMEONE HELP ME

Last week I had a decision to get Samus or Fox with my coupon at Best Buy. I chose Samus and have regretted my decision since then.

Checked like 3 stores today and a few with my friends on the way home. No Fox whatsoever.

I'm really feelin it

Managed to get a Luigi at least! After the debacle of Amazons .de and .co.uk cancelling my orders, at least something good related to amiibos today!

Already have Little Mac and Zelda from this "wave", so only need to focus on Diddy...until Captain Falcon and Pit start shipping in more quantities.

I've seen plenty of Fox amiibos lately. Let me know if you need one.

Is Zelda rare in the UK? She she's sold out at Zavvi/The Hut, GAME, Shopto, Asda, Tesco, Argos and I can't find her on Nintendo UK Store but is in stock at Base.com, Amazon and TRU (with £4 delivery?). She's about to dispatch at Amazon but I might cancel her.

I've gotten these already:

Pikachu
Fox
WFT
Villager
Marth
Diddy

and I'm about to order Little Mac, any else that you think is gonna be hard to get/rare that I should get asap?

At this point Pit and Captain Falcon are what everyone is betting on in the US.
Even though we haven't seen them a lot yet they're the smaller games from this round up.

It's kind of sad I can't find a Mario anywhere near...luckily I'm not in a rush to get him and he should get restocked, but it feels so weird not seeing him

Am I wrong or are WFT and Villager the only figures released in the US with their names printed in English, French, and Spanish on the boxes? I get that "trainer" and "villager" are words that are simply translated from one language to another unlike "Samus" but all of these are Pronouns. Why is it that Little Mac and Donkey Kong aren't printed with French/Spanish translations of their names? Weird.

Stopped by a Best Buy, 3 Targets, 2 Gamestops and a Toys R Us tonight. They were all basically sold out. Just a few of the commons here and there.

Asked a guy at Best Buy if they had anything in the cage or back, and being awesome he checked for me and said they have nothing but he did say that they hope to get more in for Sunday. I actually watched two mothers buy 3DS's. One just asked for one and bought it with no questions asked or complaints, the other asked for one and then asked for the price which was right in front of her and then complained all the way to the register about how expensive it was....lol

The Targets were empty of most Nintendo products. No Wii Us, no 3DS's only 2DS, and all the Wii Remotes were sold out or almost sold out in all of them. They all looked destroyed in the Nintendo sections while the Playstation and Microsoft sections seemed normal lol

The Gamestops had the normal supply and seemed the same as always.

The Toys R Us has a large Amiibo section, almost a whole wall now, but other than a few commons they were basically sold out. Todays sale did wonders because on Tuesday this same store was decently stocked. No Wii Us either, they were sold out.

It seems, anecdotally, that Nintendo is have supply problems in general compared to Sony and Microsoft. Or is selling out because of the holidays. I hope they get supply out for Sunday, since from now to the 24th these are the busiest days of the year.

Just got this little fella in the mail. <3

That alcohol with kirby is some deep symbolism about amiiboGAF's physical and mental struggle during this whole business isn't it? How under that cute surface of the figure we want, we are losing ourselves in the process.

Anyone want to take a stab at this one?

My guess is that those were never "characters" until Super Smash Bros. and therefore didn't have names. All the others have names that were already established in those languages.

Little Mac and Donkey Kong is their official names in all languages, when you play the spanish version of smash, for example, the announcer says "Aldeano" instead of Villager, "Entrenadora Wii Fit" instead of WiiFit Trainer, but keeps "Little Mac"and "Donkey Kong" just with the new voice over. Its actually really funny, because Ike is pronounced "Ikéh" and stuff like that.

Sweet, you enjoy that but don't go driving afterwards.

Hey you got a Kirby amiibo also. NICE!

Hey, that unsealed Southern Comfort bottle must be sitting there for more than 6 months...

The vodka got a beating in a single evening with friends though, me too, bought these two simultaneously and never came back after this. Anyway since I'm dating a woman from work recently I'm more used to drink wine. :P

Also, I take the bus. D:

Deep, yet accurate.

I learned something new, thanks. I noticed that King DeeDeeDee and Caption Falcon are getting the same multi-language treatments on their respective boxes. And I don't think that Toon Link fits into this equation but w/e.

Bought my first amiibos, Samus and Fox. Only really wanted the Samus one but decided to pick a second up with Toys R' Us' deal today. Fox was the only one that appealed to me from the selection they had.

I saw a few of their Peach amiibos were broken(completely snapped off the stand). Is that common?

Those are rare error Amiibos..lol Worth a minimum of 25k.

Had a diddy and little mac in the package and finally decided to take diddy out...but the little mac is a duplicate so he stays in the package for now.

I really wanted a Wii Fit Trainer from wave 1...does anyone want to trade a WFT for a little mac?
