I'm down for an Amiibo road trip this weekend. I ordered Luigi on amazon already, but have none of the other guys for wave 2. I haven't checked the stock anywhere around here, so you'd know better than I would.
 
Best Buy cancelled my in-store pickup for Diddy earlier this week and somehow had exactly one Diddy on the shelf when I went to pick up my Mac and Zelda this morning.
 
Based on ZSS's pose, I can pretty much guarantee there is going to be some butt plastic

Late to the party, but my Pit was canceled by TRU as well.

On a side note, are you guys opening these, keeping them mint or buying 2 of each? I am getting tired of looking at all these boxes.
 
I really hope amazon.ca won't shit on my Pit/Ike/Sonic/MM/Capt. Falcon/King Dedede orders...I mean, I'm MONTHS in advance for these. D:

Anyone experienced something bad with them so far...?

Update from Amazon UK

Little Mac arrived literally minutes ago. Ordered 21 Nov, only one ordered from W2, rec'd em yesterday morning confirming it was sent.

So TRU canceled all my amiibo preorders which means they sold me Fox and Samus for eight bucks each with no upside for them.

Lol this is such a shit storm.
 
I accidentally found a receipt that named the three identical parcels under the Christmas tree as my partner's gift to me as Mario, Luigi and Star Fox amiibos. Now her interest in what I was doing by jamming a stupid little toy on my gamepad is revealed along wih the fact she paid Game UK's horrendous mark-up prices
and she got ones I didn't care about help what should i do
 
I know WHY Nintendo is handling Amiibos the way they are but as a Nintendo fan and consumer the whole experience has been so frustrating I'm just opting out.

This really should've been an opportunity for Nintendo fans to have affordable, reasonably well crafted figures of their favorite characters but instead it is an exercise in futility. Disappointing.

Here's hoping Nintendo takes a more consumer friendly approach down the road and allows you to order all waves through their online store.

Be thankful that she took the time to understand something that you like and went out of her way to get you some amiibos as a present. She sounds pretty awesome to be honest, and you sound kind of ungrateful.

Play dumb, accept the gifts enthusiastically, give her something great for Christmas, too.
 
How selfish, I'd be happy to have a partner who gave a shit about my interests. I don't care if they were all peach amiibos I'd still be grateful.

Only buying ones I really want, at least now. Otherwise, got doubles of Fit, Villager, Marth, and while I have Samus and Link to use (Samus bought, gifted Link), I'm not impressed with their functionality so I'm more collecting/displaying so getting one of Mac, Lucario, Sheik, Ike, Mega Man, Sonic, Toon Link, Shulk, Rosalina and keeping them in box.

But that's it.

Well, of the announced. Want at least another 10 of the rest.

She is! And I'm a jerk; this isn't news to me. I was more distressed that she spent £45 on things I feel bad for not being more excited for.

Maybe you should just be happy someone cares about you enough to try. Lots of guys aren't so lucky.
