There is no need to increase your movement speed when you have the sword. And how about when I shoot at them while they are sprinting towards me, they slow down?
 
Can I just say, 'The Sprint' episodes are fucking AWESOME. Well shot and interesting to follow, I love anything behind the scenes in game development. Keep them coming 343!

I'm on to 4, they are worth their own threads for discussion, loved the who design, pro team, art stuff. Remixes look great too.
 
Yup is Halo. Got killed in a match every spawn within 3 seconds. Sucked the fun right out of the game.

Oh, because it matches us against a team of "pro" skill players. Why.

And why can't I back out.

I have seen no skilled matchmaking yet. getting matched up against people of all skills.

Spawns are terrible in this game. I've noticed that they will spawn you on your teammates even if their in battle. Happens to me all the time and i die from nade spams a lot cuz of it.


I do not think 343 is going in the right direction. I think they're going to run into the same problem halo 4 had. People will abandon the game for MCC and BLOPS3

Ogre 2 stopped playing the beta after a few matches to play Halo CE instead. That says it all really. LOL.

No, but seriously, while some things are good, like the emphasis on competition, the return of de-scoping, the reduced aim assist, the thrusters, etc, there's also some really terrible design decisions. Like ADS not being completely cosmetic, flinch still being in the game, not being able to use classic scopes, the removal of crouch jump, clamber being a crutch for players who can't make jumps, the lack of visual clarity, radar still being in the game, the awful new sniper, killcams not being optional, the BR feeling like a single shot weapon, the automatic weapons being way too good at mid range, sprint still being in the game, the dudebro spartans...

The game has potential, but it needs a lot of work. Good thing this is a real beta. 343 still has time to implement plenty of changes before the game releases.

Nope, but I've played enough Halo during the past 12 years to know what I like and what I don't. It's not like I'm going to magically like ADS once I try it the 29th...

A really pleasing Beta where we are only scratching the surface of Halo.

Naded too. Wahsly. Ninja lol.

After having more time with the game, I am REALLY hating sprint. At first it didn't bother me as much as I thought but now it is a real pain. The whole game revolves around it. Once you are good, you will literally sprint throughout the map near ALL THE TIME until you encounter a battle.
 
Omg I cant play this game with randoms. It really is the worst possible gaming experience. We start out me and my other 2 mates have 3 deaths each. Our other dipshit teammate is fucking 0-10! Like seriously I have someone on my team like That every game.
 
Another match full of shit. I could barely count to 5 before death. I was spawning with bullets at my head. Wtf.

My bullets are peas today.
Went from +50 to -10.
Ugh.
 
Did they break matchmaking while it was down? Like almost every match I played consist of a team full of onxy while my teammates are only in bronze. Mind you I'm in gold.

Who the heck are you playing against? Any decent team would not let that happen, lol.
 
None of the Halos are working?? Beta not finding people after like 10 minutes of waiting and neither is the MCC. I can't tell which one is a true beta or not.
