I checked and Target cancelled my Diddy Kong pre-order. Luckily I placed a second order at Toys R Us during the very short time they were available.
I now have my Diddy Kong and Zelda from Wave 2 and Little Mac should be here tomorrow. Hopefully non of my other pre-orders for Wave 2.1 or Wave 3 will be cancelled. It's pretty bad when I pre-ordered and I'm still having trouble getting each figure.
I've yet to see a single Wave 2 in multiple stores (and multiple visits) in my area. Granted it's a small town but I walked in and bought a second Marth, WFT, and Villager after Wave 1 launched...

My import pit from nippon yasan just shipped. Should be here in two days.
That's why when I saw Diddy in toys r us I bought him and cancelled the one on Target. I just have Rosalina there now. I got falcon pit and 3 of wave 3 at Best Buy but I'll check the stores everyday just in case this happens (this canceling preorder stuff)

I ordered a WFT from them too but I picked economy shipping so she'll be a few more weeks when she ships

So apparently JB Hi-Fi in Australia are only getting two of each character per store for wave 3.

I'm so confused with what is happening with my order. The woman on the phone said that they were supposed to be getting the shipment of the Wave 2 Amiibo's on the 18th, but they are now delayed until the end of the month. Possibly until January, at this rate. I think I might cancel my pre-order for Pit, along with King Dedede & Meta Knight, and just order them on Play Asia or AmiAmi.
At least I won't have to head to Seattle (from North Vancouver), and feel like it's guaranteed. What do you guys think?

How's the quality of Pit, Little Mac and Zelda? All three still have stock on EB Games Aus website but I don't want to buy em online if I might end up getting dodgy faces and whatnot.
I still want a Fox and Captain Falcon as well but they're out of stock online.
Shulk, Ike and Dedede are also out of stock for preorders, praying I can find at least a Shulk somewhere, he's my favourite. Sheik and Meta Knight are still up though so I'll pre order both online.
Lucario I sort of want to preorder but he looks a bit dodgy so I'll wait until I can see one in person.

So I've decided to get another amiibo to fulfill a free shipping order on Amazon and I'm undecided if I should get Fox, Samus, or Donkey Kong. I ask you amiibo-amiigos, which one should I get?

pit is awesome. a little skin color paint bleed on the handle on his bow...otherwise perfect.

captain falcon made it to the targets where I live (colorado springs, CO) and sold out everywhere immediately. pretty small initial shipment of 4 per store it looked like. luckily I managed to snag one.
I've been checking inventory of best buy, gamestop, and targets several times a day for pit. he hasn't hit this area at all yet.

I just remembered that I asked my sister to get me an amiibo for christmas though, I don't know which she would have gotten though D:

I get that. But given how dodgy the people at my local Best Buy have been, along with the fact that most stores in the Vancouver/Burnaby area have nothing but the Zelda Amiibo's since early-December & been cancelling most of their orders (my friend only wanted to pick up Little Mac, what with being a big Punch Out! fan), I'm just getting frustrated with this whole ordeal.

Go back to re-add him and he's out of stock.
Go to check out the other two and get an error at the end saying Pit is out of stock.

I'm in Michigan, my local Meijer got a box of Luigi that had 3 Pit in it. The next closest Meijer had the same thing except 3 Falcons instead. Oddly enough all GameStop in the area got neither.
I wasnt fast enough to get Falcon.

so the TRU ebay order for Lucario says it has 2 day shipping by 12/22 10AM and estimated to arrive by 12/25. Can't wait to see if it actually ships tomorrow.
i wouldn't mind getting mario as a gift. He's common as dirt so I've passed on him so far.

3/5 I want from wave 3 are out of stock for pre-orders already though lol, Ike, Dedede and Shulk.
Mario is the perfect
gateway drug
Cheap, readily available, and a classic. He is also one of the few flawless amiibo paint/design-wise.
He is also so normal than people would want one of the "cool ones" to give company to mario.

Which Meijer? I am in Belleville, and the one on Belleville Rd had a Diddy Kong that I picked up tonight.
I did notice something odd. On Friday, there was a tag for Pit - which was empty. When I was there again tonight, the Pit tag said Marth. The Pit tag was gone altogether.
