I've gotten really lucky with amiibos I've ordered online so far. My Little Mac and Villager look perfect, my Samus doesn't lean, and Yoshi is Yoshi - he looks good.
The one amiibo I ordered online that I'm scared about is Diddy though. If his eyes derp I won't be able to live with myself.

My Samus is also at 50 and my Diddy is 15 or so (I just opened him today).
With how fast they level up, I'm not sure what the point is really, though I have noticed the mimicry, which is cool.

I have most of mine to lvl 50 but I've really only been training Wii Fit Trainer. The rest have just been doing smash matches to grind for crap.
The leveling only affects their stats. They learn separate from the leveling. They'll continue to modify their behavior after lv. 50.
I actually haven't picked up mario due to that, plus if I get a duplicate I'm sure I can get some store to do an exchange.

Or preferably his order gets cancelled which would be the best solution anyway just limit it to 3 max or something online per account/guest id.

I saw exactly 1 store back home with him in stock this morning. Already gone. Dunno if the others sold right out of the box or if that store lucked out with him. Does seem like GameStop is going very low in stock for amiibos. Preorders and at most like 2 of each of the new stuff.

If it is common, he can just return them to the store and get his 1300 back. That's the sucky thing about scalping...lots of profit potential without terrible risk.
Idk I've seen store ban people for scalping in the past maybe that time will come again...

I was out today just walking around malls since I was bored. Came home with a Kirby and Donkey Kong.
All I'm missing now from Wave 1 aside from the discontinued ones are Link and Peach. I refuse to buy a Link that has a bent sword and so far every one I've seen has been bent. As for Peach, her face just looks so off to me. I'd only buy her if I actually got Marth/Villager/Wii Fit Trainer at some point as well just for collection purposes.

Since I can still find every Amiboo over here (Italy), which ones should I prioritize? I keep hearing about Nintendo not restocking/producing some of them again, here on GAF, which scares me shitless 'cause I don't have that much money to order 'em all at the moment and I wanted to get the ones I really like first... but I will go with Amiboos which might not be coming back instead.

I am. I noticed a bunch of Gamestops 40-60 miles from me started stocking Pits slowly on Saturday and then selling out towards the end of the night and into Sunday morning. I'm hoping my local store gets a delivery in tomorrow morning. I also noticed they don't have Luigis in either so I think they are expecting a shipment. It's a small store, so it's a long shot, but I'll see what I can get.

It's funny because I ended up getting Wii Fit Trainer and Marth from Japan when they started getting rare and I thought that I'd order one of Wave 2 while I was there since delivery would be around the same and Wave 2 came out day and date with the game in Japan so I picked Pit.
