I've been busy with work and you know... Christmas, so I haven't been in this thread for a couple of days. Have shipments picked up, and is everyone getting the ones they want in stores now? I'm just waiting for Pit from Toys R Us to complete my wave 2.

Out of curiosity, do we have a European guide like the American one?
It seems that there characters like Pit are common here but uncommon in the US. An EU guide would be interesting/helpful.

Kirby is the only one that seems hard to get, even harder than the holy trinity (Marth, Villager, WFT), but I have not made a list of it since I don´t have anecdotal experience of how things are over there.

Yeah, as mentioned above, they're the ones everyone gets.

The Nintendo World Store is really a funny thing. They don't stand behind anything they sell, really. Get a defective system from them? No returns. They tell you that you MUST contact NoA for service. They're a neat thing but they aren't connected with the retail tissue that exists between an Apple Store and Apple themselves.

I'm not saying don't go, but do think of them as more of an odd outlet store than a true representation of the company.

They did have a bunch of those Wind Waker Link Nendoroid Action Figures though, and a ton of Samus Figmas. Again, strange selection.

Best Buy is getting Falcon and not Pit, so probably Pit.

I bought a 3DS XL with a ton of stuck pixels from the Nintendo World Store on release. Clearly visible from the moment I took it out of the box, saw them in store. The guys there were completely unapologetic and wouldn't do jack for me. I'll certainly never buy a console from them again.

Hard to find games and Amiibos though, I'd definitely go there for those.

Do you have a comic store or Games Workshop near you? They'll likely have Warhammer models and paint for them, you can buy plastic-specific paints and use those.

I personally like seeing the paint in person, you get a much better idea of the tone and hue. Some of the better places will also let you test it on a blank model or plastic test model to see how it sets and looks once dry.

I saw somebody do that a few days back, said they found one close by so never mind. Well too bad if that person already bought it for you. Wait for them to ship it like a reasonable person or buy two and sell one later but somebody is doing something nice, for you, because you asked them to and spending their money to boot. You don't just get to "back out".

Then I go to the local TRU to get some batteries and notice several preorder cards for wave 3. I try to reserve, but none were able to go through. Why have the cards on display?!
