Amazon.fr has Pit for relatively cheap if you order 2 or 3 of them. Doesn't ship for a few weeks but it came out to about $19 each for 2, or $16.65 each for 3.

Yeah they were trying to get me to replace the item with something else. I was trying to be nice, but if you want it flat out cancelled you have to demand cancellation instead of asking.
I asked them 3 times nicely, the 4th time wasn't so nice. And it took forever for them to reply back.
And he is hiding behind the Villager's fat head. I don't know how I had missed Luigi.
Do you have to order two of them for the price to be like that?
Does the price include shipping and handling?
I just got home, and I opened the Captain Falcon that I got earlier.
The quality of these are better than I expected! Pleasantly surprised. It feels a bit heavy, and the texture work looks good, the paint job in some areas feels a bit muted, but it overall looks great.

Yeah that includes shipping. The order totals for me were:
1 = $26.xx
2 = 38.xx
3 = just under $50
So ordering 3 and sharing would be best.

Its not like anyone has given a solid date of availability for any of these they just started showing up... So i feel like its somewhat necessary and I very much expect to see alot of Wave 3 in general well before 02/01/2015

I have them all or have rest preordered otherwise so im not hunting all much just checking it at that time every morning :/.
Unfortunately it didnt go all the way through apparently i got a confirmation of Rosalina 0.00$... Idk its odd. I called to ask about it they said it didnt go through so I showed them the email and they are supposed to call me back... Im not confident...

I mean, I'd assume there is some difference other than just the packaging but I could be wrong.

Captain Falcon is up for shipping at Gamestop.
I'm pretty sure the figures are 100% identical across all regions, it's just the packaging that looks different.

Anyone else getting extras? I have a bunch of orders and if they all come through I'll have a couple extra Captain Falcon and like 5 extra Pits lol. I'm assuming some will either not be shipped or come packaged like crap though.
Yeah but still... Im considering going one boxed one not boxed for certain ones and rosalina is one of those... So id like all US packaging since thats what i started with...
Well, today I said fuck it to Amiibos...
and bought the rest of wave 1 I was missing. Just need a WFT and Pit to be up to date on them all.
Now my question is, can they ship overseas to the US?
Cause when I tried to pay for one, it won't allow me.

Hmm dont know. They ship to me and I'm in the Midwest. Not sure if they ship to some locations but not others for some reason or what.

To those with Japanese and European amiibo, is the bottom of the amiibo underneath the base exactly the same as the American ones? Including things like MADE IN CHINA and the number underneath. This is what the American one looks like:

Well, the CE logo shows it conforms with European regulations, so if the Japanese and N. American both have that logo, I have to think they're all exactly the same.
Im just waiting for someone to reply with an upside down picture saying they are different lol.

Ordered Pit, Capt Falcon, Little Mac, and Wii Fit Trainer from Amazon.de. Shipping was only like $15 but they're not arriving until January 14th. I'm not in any rush as long as I've got them for sure.
Preordered Mega Man, Dedede, Toon Link, and Sonic from my local GameStop to avoid rarity issues.
After that I'm not sure I'll be picking up any others. Probably Lucina, maybe Palutena and Dark Pit to complete the KI trio. ROB would be cool, Duck Hunt if he looks good (worried the duck's plastic pillar will look awful). Mewtwo if he gets one.
I'll get the mainstays like Mario and Pikachu when they do non-smash Amiibos. Holding out for some different sculpts on the big names.

So, my story on getting this guy was hilarious and great. This started with me checking with the store availability for GS/BB/TRGT, and seeing that GS has some low stock within my DFW area. Since I had Captain Falcon on pre-order, I gave them a call, and this is how it went.
GS employee: [spiel]
Me: Hi, I was wondering if y'all had gotten the Captain Falcon amiibo, because I'm seeing some stores with low stock on him.
GS employee: amiibo? Is that some new game?
Me: No, it's one of those game figures you can use, like Skylanders or Disney Infinity, but for Nintendo. *At this moment I was thinking about asking him if he was new OR to look left of him if he was behind the counter to see what they were
GS employee:......let me ask around.
Me: Okay
GS employee: Don't have any at the display, but do you want me to check the back?
Me: Sure, I have a pre-order on him and wanted to know if it was okay if I could pick one up.
*employee goes in the back*
GS employee: Yes, we do have some.
Me: Thanks, I'll be there soon.
Right after, I called 2 Gamestops to see if they had Pit, but got unfortunate news.
