Why would they use slow motion? It's so janky when you're at 30fps. In any case, I lost all optimism for this game. Only the reviews and impressions will decide if would buy this game.

Yeah, I am really hyped for this. I will definitely be picking this up Day 1. I really hope Best Buy will put it on their $10 Preorder Bonus list, that would make the entry price for this game Day 1 very easy to swallow. $48 with GCU Plus $10 Preorder Bonus brings it down to like $38 plus tax. Considering this is a game that probably will not have alot of replay value (I am just assuming this, but I would love alternate endings and some choices that can "rewrite" the story throughout), I could slowly play through the game, enjoy the hell out of it, then trade it back in for nearly what I paid for it.


I am really hyped to finally get my hands on it

I think it will give me my Gears of War fix too. Also, I plan on going digital for this game to support RaD.

not many silent night renditions exactly. But plenty of trailers with creepy family friendly/children songs. Recently we had The Avengers with the pinnochio song. And the most hilarious trailer though was for one horror exorcism movie because they used "The Itsy Bitsy Spider" and it was so out of place it felt like they were scraping the barrel of public domain songs

I dunno, as someone who doesn't have much interest in this game outside of "wow this is pretty" the last bits of the trailer where the focus moved away from generic fighting random soldier QTE to the more horror-like aspects (facing against werewolf, carrying teammate) were the only bits that excited me. The last police station trailer was also really good.

They should've advertised this as a horror third person shooter from the start rather than whatever trainwreck the marketing has been up until now.

I know that there's been some creepy Silent Night renditions for films, but this would be the first for a game to my knowledge. Officially anyways. There's probably some fan work out there.

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star was the creepy one for a video game (Dead Space), and it was also given a treatment in Alien Resurrection.

I know it's been said countless of times but I can't get over by how good this game looks, visually it's mind blowing and way above U4 or any other console game we've seen.
