The PSX demo was much more open level design then we have ever seen in an uncharted game. With multiple pathways abound and entire sections avoided by Nate. The level design was even less linear than TLoU, which had more open level design than the Uncharter series to begin with.
It seems UC4 combat areas are atleast as big as TLOU if not bigger ( given the different mechanics at play - verticality, stealth, cover shooting etc... ) which means it will be wide linear and not like UC1,2 or 3 wheras Order seems to be closer to UC1/2/3 mould so far.
Really don't like trailers who put a song in the background playing trying to make the game look all dramatic and stuff. Why can't we get a normal gameplay trailer with in game soundtrack?
i didnt think the music fit well and dont think it was well put together. They were trying to do what the avengers did with the pinocchio song but couldnt pull it off. i just dont think it sold the game well.
BigTnaples, UC does a clear LOD switch which actually makes sense because having the same high fidelity model while playing the game with the camera zoomed out is unnecessary as it hogs system resources and no one will even likely notice. The order however does it differently. There is no switch. The character details remain the exact same when switching from cutscene to gameplay which is frankly ridiculous as it will only hog resources. Yet RAD belives it will add authenticity to the game which is why they are taking the resource hog to provide that experience. There is a clear difference in the models in cutscenes and gameplay in UC4. Infact pause the screen when Nate is in that first melee struggle under the water against the rock and compare it with the ending cutscene. It is different. All dev's do this. RAD is the exception.
Because... Plot?If this is like Colonial Marines where you only fight the monsters 30% of the time while the rest are boring human enemies then I'll pass- unless the GAF reviews are glowing, then I'll get it cheap or 2nd hand like Mordor.
Seriously, wasn't the initial teaser and synopsis base around fighting those werewolves? Why are they showing more human enemies now?
arouse |əˈraʊz|

excite (someone) sexually: his touch, which had so aroused her moments before, unnerved her now | (as adj.aroused) : she told him how aroused she was.
2 awaken (someone) from sleep: she had been aroused from deep slumber.
Because... Plot?
You want to kill monsters all day with little to no plot, there is always blood born.
WAT? I didn't pay much attention to U4 because of all the graphics 'debate' so I missed that, but WAT? I don't want my first time seeing such amazing effects to be on a dude character...
That + Tressfx on Lara would be amazing. Oh wait TR is dead to me.
You want Lara's chest hair to move in the wind?WAT? I didn't pay much attention to U4 because of all the graphics 'debate' so I missed that, but WAT? I don't want my first time seeing such amazing effects to be on a dude character...

You want Lara Croft with chest hair ?
Maybe I need to rewatch it.
It sure would be awesome if the game actually has intricate level design this time around.
One would hope so.

Uncharted 4's true scope is unknown as of yet because nobody played it.
I'd bet on UC4 being linear as the other ND games, simply speaking from past experience.
From the footage we've seen, there's nothing to indicate that the game will have an
usually large scope anyway.
