way above U4 or any other console game we've seen.
No. No it's not.
It does look fucking gorgeous though.

U4 has a bigger scope, but the fidelity of The Order is unmatched, would there be any debate which looks better if The Order had a scope as big as U4? I don't think so.No. No it's not.

They barely showed any gunplay in the trailer. If any.Nice graphics, boring and limited shooting, QTEs, a heavy focus on cinematic set pieces and story.....
Man Uncharted 2 was an amazing game.
The Order? Who knows. Let's hope for the best.
Yea right, like the gameplay of U4 looks as good as the cut scenes or the model slides you took from their presentation which looks a lot more impressive than the actual gameplay model.No. No it's not.

With The Order there is 1:1 match between cut scenes and gameplay or at least it looks 1:1, in U4 it's not.
Put some gameplay shots from the PSX demo itself if you are so sure it's superior...

I still say this shouldn't have been a game, but mores a big budget HBO GoT like TV series.
Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde is the original title of a novella written by the Scottish author Robert Louis Stevenson that was first published in 1886.
Well, I'm talking about pure fidelity, otherwise I could say that GTAV looks better than both because of its massive scope, do you agree with that as well? That's a ridiculous question. Would The Order have the same fidelity if it's scope was as big as Uncharted 4?
Yea I can agree with everything you say here, technically it goes for different goals than others, but no game match its CG look. The point is it does not have the scope of UC4, Does not do foliage which is infintely harder to then the geometry that you see in Order and neither is it 1080p. Having said that I think it is unquestionable - The Order 1886 ( Visually and not necessarily technically ) is the most beautiful game ever made and I say this including PC. Nothing is close to the CG look of the Order. It is a genuine question for everyone - Max out any PC game and show me gameplay footage ( not in engine stuff but gameplay ) of it looking better than the Order. I am yet to see such a game.
Now if only the gameplay holds up I would be a more happier man...
Sorry but the fidelity of the ending cut scene in the U4 demo looks considerably better than the actual gameplay and i really don't care what ND has to say about it, they also said that the E3 demo was indicative of the game's visuals and that wasn't true either+ it ran at double the framerate. The first two shots are direct gameplay/cutscene shots. And so are the gifs. Also ND stated they are using the exact same model in cutscenes and gameplay, for seamless cutscene transitions. Soo..??
No. No it's not.

I know that when I see TO gameplay it looks almost identical to the cutscenes, when I saw the U4 PSX demo it was obvious that the ending cutscene looked better than any gameplay that was before it (And I'm only talking about the ending cut scene, the opening looked like gameplay from the start and it wasn't as impressive as the ending cut scene and ND's model slides)
The fidelity is identical. Show me one detail on the model in the gameplay video that differs from the cutsene model? You can throw in your subjective notions about what looks the same and what doesn't. The fact is, UC4 is using the same model in cutscenes and gameplay. And we have already seen that demonstrated. You can say otherwise, but I'm pretty certain ND doesn't much care what you have to say about the technical details game they are making either.
We have no reason to think that ND aren't being transparent about this. If they say they are using cutscene models in gameplay, and it looks like they are using cutscene models in gameplay, then guess what...?
BigTnaples, UC does a clear LOD switch which actually makes sense because having the same high fidelity model while playing the game with the camera zoomed out is unnecessary as it hogs system resources and no one will even likely notice. The order however does it differently. There is no switch. The character details remain the exact same when switching from cutscene to gameplay which is frankly ridiculous as it will only hog resources. Yet RAD belives it will add authenticity to the game which is why they are taking the resource hog to provide that experience. There is a clear difference in the models in cutscenes and gameplay in UC4. Infact pause the screen when Nate is in that first melee struggle under the water against the rock and compare it with the ending cutscene. It is different. All dev's do this. RAD is the exception.
Had some fun with the contrast and all that, reduced to 720p to compensate the horrible compression (and it was the gamersyde vid..)

There isn't a clear LoD switch. His holster shift position by an inch or two...
Quoted from another user..
Stop bringing Uncharted in here please. The game is still a year away. Comparison is pointless.
I dont see Nate for example in this shot to be nearly as detailed as the cutscene equivalent. Anyways I guess I should not continue the UC debate here. Both are beautiful looking games in the end.
game has great graphics but that was such a poorly put together trailer.
What? The trailer itself was fantastic. What about it was poorly cut in your opinion?

Whoa. Bookmarking the trailer to watch it later, and by that I mean when I finish up the game. Been on a media blackout since E3.Damn good trailer, almost rivalling the Mad World one for Gears.
Uncharted 4's true scope is unknown as of yet because nobody played it.
I'd bet on UC4 being linear as the other ND games, simply speaking from past experience.
From the footage we've seen, there's nothing to indicate that the game will have an usually large scope anyway.
