I received Wave One from Amazon without any issues - but then again, Amazon shipped my entire Wave One order together in a large box so they were compactly packaged together :/

Well it cost me more than that personally. One was about $28, so I went with two and it came to about $42. So $21 per. Good deal if you need two. Unless they lowered the price or something in the last week. US by the way

yup that's exactly what I did. Don't mind paying ~$5 extra for any of the three, especially if it saves me the headache of calling around/checking a bunch of stores/dealing with retailer exclusive garbage

They already said there will be amiibo who are limited to 1 print run and have already discontinued 3 from wave 1 no point thinking they wouldn't do the same here. At least imo it makes more sense for them financially to keep people thinking along these terms.

Wave 3 is set for Jan 29 here in Australia, just like wave 2 was set for Dec 12 (?) waaaay in advance.

NA ended up getting wave 2 the same time as us despite no one really knowing what the official date was, and I can guarantee it'll be the same for wave 3, so over a month.

Lol that's like how I'm feeling right now. Have Shulk, Dedede, Meta Knight, Ike and Sheik pre-ordered. Only thing holding me back on Bowser, Lucario and Rosalina is that they look a bit low quality from the images they've shown for them. Don't want another Marth quality figure.
 
I tried to pre-order Shulk in a local EBgames today in Quebec, sound like they were sold out something like two days after it was available?

Whatever, anyone will have an extra Shulk to sell? I'll try here before making a scalper's profit. :P

Yeah, this definitely seems like the best bet for those two unless you want to kill yourself trying to find them at a Target or TRU lol

I refuse to give in to Lucario hype. I never wanted him, and him being retailer exclusive and therefore super rare doesn't change that >_<

Felt the same way. I already had Shulk, Mega Man, and Toon Link Pre-ordered. Then I went to Toys R Us to do some christmas shopping and noticed they were still having pre-orders on Lucario. I caved.
 
I'm coming out of my semi-permanent lurking cave to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. :D

I got lucky yesterday and found the last Pit and Captain Falcon that my Walmart had. My girlfriend somehow found Diddy Kong at EB.

Still waiting for my Villager to be shipped from Play-Asia; they've been "preparing order" for two weeks now, so I have no idea what the hell is going on there.

I pre-ordered Rosalina and Lucario from Amazon.fr just today. Came out to about $21 CAD per amiibo after shipping.
 
In the US here, but tempted to get the rare 3 from amazon.de. How much is 14,99€ in US dollars and how much would standard shipping cost? Merry Xmas to my amiibros and sis.

My wife had her manager friend at Toys R Us hold them and she picked them up yesterday when she went in town for last minute things.

Christmas is saved!

All of Wave 1 and 2 complete!

No wonder she didn't want me buying it hahahaha

Not to be a smartass, but you can check the shipping cost on the site and there are many currency converters available if you google it.

I ordered from Amazon.de a few days ago but they haven't arrived yet.
 
I had a chance to snag Captain Falcon last night but I passed in order to continue my search for Pit. Now that I came up empty, I wish I grabbed that Falcon :(

Wife got me the Smash Bros game and DK for Xmas, knowing full well I've been going crazy over Amiibos. I love her very very much :D

I just need Samus to complete Wave 1 now.

Thank you! If they actually fulfill it I will have Pit! I'm not trying to collect a set, I just want the characters I'm a fan of and Pit is a big one for me as I've been a Kid Icarus fan from the beginning. I was afraid that the collectors and scalpers were going to make that impossible.
