It's basically the same thing as someone robbing a store. Not the theft itself. The idea that they can protect themselves from it but, really, if someone wants to run in with a 12 gauge and steal all of the money there is nothing they can do about it until after the fact.

That is how society, as well as how the human brain works.
It is easier to group people with similar ideology into category.
To get into the detail of a person's belief is when you want to know more about them, companionship, friendship, relationship, ect.

But when it is time to start collecting general data on a group, the breakdown will have more common beliefs and hence the category and label.
An apple will fall into a fruit category, and leafy green stuff will go into vegetable.

What? Religion is just a collective and organized collection of ideology and belief across a group of people.
Atheism would fall into that category of having the belief of no God, and God doesn't define how the world is created.
Am I using the term too broadly? Maybe, but both side is just an ideology organization for the mass to align their faith system into.

Back to the topic at hand XBL seems to be up for alot people now, was down for about 90mins for me in the UK still a few Hiccups.
Just a pity some people have nothing better to do than be disruptive just for the sake of being disruptive

Well, yes, that's how it works for lazy people.

The difference here being that, for example, when you put your leafy green stuff in to the "vegetable" category, you also conveniently ignore or forget its unique properties (maybe it is spinach, and you don't like spinach?). That leaves open the possibility of judging it from a place of ignorance.

Some of you need some education on the words atheist and agnostic and how they are not mutually exclusive terms. If you identify as an agnostic because you "aren't sure" if a deity exists, congrats you're an atheist. Im not trying to imposing labels on anyone, but its simply the truth.

It is the most efficient way to survive and think.
That is why scientists have board category to try to separate everything to make sense of why it is in that classification.
I don't know why you would call it lazy.
We are part of the Animalia kingdom...then break down to ...Mammalia, ...Primates, Sapiens.
But each of us have its own unique characteristics and behaviors...but there is no way to define that.
An apple will always be in the fruit family, it is defined like that to fit with the classification and label for that group.

Atheists arent demanding Satanic stuff on display, Satanics are. Also when you said there is no brainwashing of kids, there is. Everything exists in Murica. Everything.
 
What if this squad is just marketing to convince people that the only way Xbox goes down is if "hackers" do it. Rather than the reality of their networks being unable to withstand the peak simultaneous load around Christmas? /tinfoilhat

Some of ya dont get it, the only quick-fix for this would be for SONY and Microsoft to locate these individuals and DDoS them back/physically go after them, themselves.....

I am sorry but in our society that is not accepted, if someone damaged your house you wouldn't go hunt them down, you would call the police. SONY/Microsoft cant DDoS them back because they would be getting down and dirty and breaking laws which of course in the public eye wouldnt look good.

And even if they DDoS'd them back, it doesn't guarentee anything because most of these attacks arent coming from their IP's, it coming from other IP's and malware on random peoples computer in countries like China who cant stand video games and had them banned for the longest time. If SONY or Microsoft called the Chinese authority they would laugh and hang up....

I'm pretty annoyed not being able to get online... but my niece got a PS4 for Christmas and has been texting me all day for help. She started out so excited at first. Told her to play the lego game offline and I'll text her when she can DL Minecraft (which is her favorite game) with the vouchers I gave her.

These guys are some real assholes.

No I didn't, can you not read? all I am saying is that the actual direct attacks are coming from China's servers. Obviously being directed by individuals outside of China.
