LIZARD SQUAD is Back. Planning XBL Attack. "Biggest attack yet". [UP: XBL/PSN Down]

This BBC interview is so sad. The interviewer had balls but this one guy just has no remorse even though his logic broke down so quickly.

I can't play Destiny but my PSN just emailed me it auto renewed for $50. Salt in the wound.
Ouch. I got this from them today which is kinda funny. Digging the "Next gen multiplayer " bit

Lizard Squad @LizardMafia · now
I think you should stick to defacing random sites nobody cares about with #op[InsertBullshitName] and wearing masks from party city.

HOTDAMN.

I can see taskforces being set up right now over IRC by Anonymous. Skilled hackers gathering together.

I don't want to call it the beginning of WW3.

... But yes, we are witnessing the begin of a digital WW and we should all immediately rent a bunker.

In all seriousness, this is quite interesting.
I wonder what 2015 will bring.

The cookie has crumbled. It's munching time. #FeedTheLizards #OpLizardSquad engaged.

There's also a Pastebin dox file, but I'm not going to post the Tweet here.

lets not forget that it doesn't matter hot much security you have, a DDOS attack done properly is pretty much unstoppable, so blaming Sony is rather out of place i think

Hopefully it doesn't come to this, but now that PSN is actually something we're paying for, at what point do we have the right to get something in return? I mean, we can't download any games, patches, DLC, or updates. Some games are completely unplayable or severely limited.

Three days? A week? A month?

There is no "right" to get something in return. If Sony deems they need some good PR, they might offer something in return. If you decide this is wholly unacceptable, contact them and tell them you want to cancel PS+ or don't re-subscribe. There is no entitlement involved or set time frame that has to pass before they are required to give you free shit.

*sigh*

Just got a PS4. I swear every time I get a new console, the servers explode.

- They might be using this downtime to integrate more solutions from the DDoS mitigation partner?

I'm probably being unjustifiably optimistic, but I really hope this is the case, and it's not something more serious.

Launch Netflix
When it the PSN login prompt comes up, hit sign in
wait for it to fail
press circle on the error that comes up
Netflix should load up successfully

That's how mines works at least, I just did it.

That used to work for me. I've been doing that for years. Not today though.

Ok, so we found the man behind it all!

Couldn't connect to PSN all day, but at least I could play without a problem. Off to bed now, hoping to wake up and be able to play TLoU Online in the morning.

Well I'm in an awful pickle here. I just got my 20th anniversary PS4 and was going to set it up the day before it arrived on the 24th I deactivated ALL my devices because I wasn't home to deactivate my old ps4 cause I was at my parents I can't do anything on any device cause they all are deactivated... my ps3, old and new ps4, pstv, and both of my vitas... and this shit started as soon as I deactivated them...

Well just do some math. You pay like 6 bucks (or whatever it is) for 30 days of service. We've missed about 2 days so you're owed 1/15 of 6 dollars or $0.40
