I understand where you're coming from and what you're saying and I kind of agree but if you see it like this, person paid for service for X amount of time, some dick hole fucks over the provider which leads to person losing a small amount of the time he paid for. The person who lost the small amount of time because of dick hole has a point in wanting that time back because that time is paid for. Will or should that person get that time back from the provider even though the provider wasn't at fault? I don't know.

question my gf got me walking dead season one when i finish a chapter I think you see a percentage of who did what in certain scenarios etc, Im assuming you need online connection to see that

oh i agree i see both perspectives as well to the point where the customer can complain I would say a service has to be down at least a solid week then you can maybe talk compensation etc. free week trial playstation plus etc. I just see some people scream i deserve this I should get this etc feeling they should be entitled more than what they are offered. (not saying saw it here however)

At some point they owe you recompense for the downtime though. You paid for a service they're failing to deliver. What is it? 20 cents a day?
 
This is all very intriguing. Sucks that people were affected (I didnt have any time to game on Christmas) but keeping up with all of this is keeping me very entertained on a long night shift at work.

Actually of you add up all the days this year that PSN has been down I think it comes to at least a few bucks which I'd gladly take. The maintenance days are by far the worst. Just purposely scheduling during the day when people are getting off work and ready to play. So stupid.
 
Another question is why does Twitter even allow these types of people with accounts? Surely it can't be that hard to permanent ban them.

It would always be during someones day. Maintenance will always be inconveniencing to someone. But at least maintenance is shorter.

If anything the authorities love that twitter is used. At least it leaves some sort of trail to dig at. So if twitter is working with authorities then they'll let the communication slide for awhile.
