LIZARD SQUAD is Back. Planning XBL Attack. "Biggest attack yet". [UP: XBL/PSN Down]

Woke up to find some people online. I still can't connect and since 90% of my games are digital and it's a secondary account, I can't start any game. Haven't been able to get on since 12/24.

I think Sony needs to reconsider their entire license process for the PS4.

People can feel however they want, but it's odd that I'm seeing more hostility towards Sony than the kids who launched the DDoS Attacks.

Ignorance, but forgivable ignorance in this situation IMO. When the "competition" is back up for days, and you're not, I can see being angry. Rational or not.

I mean, anger isn't the most rational emotion to begin with.

Why is it not a primary account? All accounts should be set to primary.

I don't know why people feel the need to defend Sony in the first place. They're doing their best to get everything working, I'm sure, but they're under no obligation to be shielded from people telling them "You need to do better."

Lmao at that Kotaku piece."For the greater good." Delusional.

I actually logged in after manually adjusting the MTU settings and while I was watching streams I couldn't dl Geometry Wars 3 from my library or get onto GTA Online.

Saying "calm down" doesnt mean that criticism cant be made though.

Right. But I think it's pretty clear there is a subset of people doing "damage control". I don't get that. We own the fucking system, and we want to play it.

Live's been up for a day and a half for us. The PS4 is essentially a paperweight.

Blaming Sony is like blaming a woman for getting raped after having a couple of drinks, or a family for getting robbed because they left a window unlocked. This is all squarely on the shoulders of the perpetrators, not the victims.

Maybe he ment it more as "raging about it wont make any difference". People can be frustrated and angry about the downtime though, i totally see that, just to have mentioned that.

Now we need a Hitler reference and we're all good.

Simple analogy about blaming the victim... not hard to comprehend.

Aside from your shocking lack of tact, it's a shitty analogy.

PSN and XBL are professional services provided by multi-billion dollar corporations who have a duty to provide service to their customers. When it's clear that it's possible for a company to do better than another at providing those services in the face of adversity, you cannot simply ignore the fact that Sony may simply be doing a bad job.

shitty analogy, but very true point.

There've been people posting in this thread that haven't been able to. Just as there've been people posting in here that say they can log into PSN.

OK, but I think that you can agree Live has been back up for the majority of users for some time. PSN is still mostly down. This isn't news. Finding the exceptions here is picking at nits.

I want to play my fucking PS4.

Why not let it go? The emotion is understandable. Every one of those posts is quoted by the same few people.

Do we have an evidence that XBL and PSN are hammered by the same amount?

Oh, definitely. I'm sure there are a higher percentage of people who can use live than can use PSN. I'm still locked out of PSN myself, but all I've been playing recently is the single player of GTAV, so I haven't felt the pain as much as others.

Although in the next few days I was hoping to play some Diablo 3 with my friend, so here's hoping.

Well theres about 18,000 people on Battlefield 4 PS4 so it myst be working in some regard. It wont let me activate a primary console and the store comes up 'under maintenance'
