No, but some negative feedback is coming in saying TRU canceled their amiibo order.
That doesn't seem right. I have Rosalina pre-ordered and shipping to me here in California is 14.49 EUR.
EDIT: Just went through checkout for Wii Fit Trainer and for 5 to 10 day delivery it's 14 something EUR (total 26.84) and for 2 day delivery it's 22.24 EUR (total 34.84).
yeah I went through the checkout putting an address I have in Texas just to see the price and and it's 27'09 euros for a Rosalina preorder.
I wonder why is a WFT 10 euros more expensive.
EDIT= Nope, you are right, WFT is also 26'84 euros, no idea how I got 38 euros the first time I looked for it
EDIT 2= Marth and Villager though, it didn't even let me proceed to checkout, I chose the first 3rd party seller that claimed they ship internationally and the order got rejected anyway.
it's either amazon itself selling or bust it seems.

And yeah, ordering from Amazon.fr was really painless using Chrome and having it translate. I didn't even have to make a new amazon account.
38 Euros total for Marth and WFT and they'll be in by the end of January.
I'm not sure why the default for them isn't directly from Amazon.fr but you can select it. My guess is that the third party sellers will ship right away and directly from Amazon.fr is on a slight delay

Kirby amiibo is one of the best. Too hard to resist for somebody that doesn't own him.
I wouldn't read in to it too much, likely going off the same info we are, they see the discontinued in their system, which we have known about for some time, then the speculation and rumor starts. They're not being recalled we would have heard about that.

Just got my 2 Marth 2 WFT and 2 Villager package delivered yesterday. I split it with a fellow Amiibro to make shipping seem cheaper. We ended up paying $20.50 on average a figure. Package looks very similiar other than they have the numbered corners which I like. I would recommend this method as it is Amazon and your same account works. Same quick service and delivery. It went from shipped in Germany to showing up at my door 8 days later with no shipping details in between.
Amazon.de seems the best option if you order a few to average out the cost per with shipping. My only regret is not getting more like Rosalina and Lucairo to ensure I get it. I open mine so package is no issue. Good luck Amiibro
Just as a heads up Amazon.de only has Marth and WFT available from third party sellers at this point.

DE and FR have different things available, I believe DE is better stocked right now but FR is fine for preorders or whatever.

As mentioned above, for Marth and WFT at least, DE won't ship to the US because it's all third party sellers.
FR will ship directly from Amazon, but you have to wait 2-4 weeks if you don't need them right now.

and to double check, does anyone know if TRU price matches other store's advertised prices for the figures? That $1 surcharge on all their stuff annoys me but if I can get it price matched I wouldn't have a problem.

Highly suggest importing. I don't know who has stock right now but I'd check with Amazon.fr, Amazon.co.uk Amazon.jp, and Amazon.de If anything else check eBay a japan import. They go around 35 dollars.
Amazon.fr. If you order two amiibos it comes to something like $22 each. There is a wait on Marth though, a few weeks.
Alternatively keep your eyes on Marth at Nippon-yasan. Their inventory fluctuates a lot. It may come back in stock for a short time. Cost me about $20.50 alone.

Make sure you are not choosing the 3rd party option, which is actually the one currently displayed since Amazon is out of stock, with a wait on inventory. Click onthe other sellers and you'll see Amazon.
Multiple shipping with Amazon reduces the total shipping cost significantly.

Amazon UK has Marth for £13.15, it's a little bit over RRP but after shipping it should still be cheaper than scalper prices.
I choose Amazon only with cheapest shipping option for 8 Amiibos (need some as gifts and figured might as well lock down Rosalina). The shipping (for one package) was almost EUR 30, is that normal? I thought people said it was cheap - or was that Amazon.de?
Also the MSRP for 12.49 EUR is kind of high. Poor European Amiibros

No. I just added 8 amiibos to my cart, and the total for shipping is 16.67 Euros. My total order is 99 Euros which comes to about $120 US or $15 per amiibo. Not sure where you are going wrong.
Make sure there are no 3rd party sellers in your order, make sure the following options are checked as well for shipping:
