Yes, when I tried to launch, it said to either insert the disc or download MCC. Once inserted, the beta launched, but servers aren't up yet so it didn't work.

It really does feel a little like 4 was 343 learning to walk. Lots of leaning on things, lots of fumbling around, a bit of falling flat on their ass. 5 seems to be a whole 'nother animal.

Ok, I found it under extras in MCC, it takes me to the store page where it says FREE, i hit download and it asks me to pick the profile it's for, I pick my own user profile, then it just stays at the store page. No matter how many times i click FREE it doesn't start downloading.

Yeah my xbox seems right fucked up. Now it's playing a random cutscene from Halo 2.

And the Halo MCC icon that's on my home page doesn't launch the game anymore, clicking on it does nothing.

That's what it says on my end, and I know I downloaded the update. I'd say you're good to go.

If you want to be sure, try to launch the beta client. If it needs the update, it'll tell you.
