i love how these assholes corner him for dancing and then shove him on the ground, give me a fucking break. these cops look like a bunch of gang members on your typical street corner in this video.
He's not defending the cops, but what do you think is going to happen when you do that to cops that are already on edge? Do you not recall 2 cops got snuck up on and shot a few weeks ago?
Dont behave like a jackass trying to provoke the police, dont get thrown on the ground
Maybe you'll get banned as well for back seat modding.
Uh no you need thicker skin than that to live in this city.
Yes let's arrest Ellen Degeneres. Enjoy your ban.
Do we really have a defense force for people being assaulted by the police for dancing?

And here we go.If what the police did was "assault' then what this guy was doing was sexual harassment.
especially in pants that tightIf what the police did was "assault' then what this guy was doing was sexual harassment.
Yes he is.
Did you not read the article? He did it with a bunch of people, to get on television, including other cops who managed not to attack him. Stop trying to normalize police brutality, it's sick.
If what the police did was "assault' then what this guy was doing was sexual harassment.
I don't know why people keep saying this.No one's defending the police.
Yes!Yes, dancing like an idiot warrants physical assault.
If what the police did was "assault' then what this guy was doing was sexual harassment.
They knew he was dancing. They asked him why he was dancing. I don't see what the unknown variable is.

The problem with a lot of these discussions is the dividing line between the amount of leeway we want to give police to properly ensure nothing bad is going on and the amount of overreach they are showing by acting the way they are.
For example, let's say we agree that this guy shouldn't have been dancing in the officer's blind spot. In fact, I'd even say I understand the premise: not because dancing behind officer's is wrong, but because right now tensions are so high that people might overreact.
But, there is a far cry from understanding that - and then perhaps saying the officer had a right to question him politely - from saying the officer had a right to call four other officers over, bully and intimidate the guy, curse him into submission and then literally push him to the ground after they find no crime.
Their job should have stopped at politely questioning him to determine if a crime is committed. After that, they are completely in the wrong.
This guy is ZERO TO BLAME for the cops abusing their position to once again berate and assault a man innocent of any crimes.
jesus christ shoving someone so hard they fall to the ground isn't assault!?
We don't know if it was "dancing" or black people dancing to summon fellow gang members.
We should check his HS transcript and faecbook photos to make sure he's not actually a thug. If he's not a thug then I might feel bad depending on his dialect. His choice of clothes does seem thuggish so not sure if I feel sympathetic yet. However if he does indeed turn out to be a thug then he shouldn't have been dancing behind that one cop, but in full view of the cop in the van. These guys are on high alert because reasons, leave them alone. You try being a cop for a day where people are out to get you and you're always discriminated against maybe then you'll understand the pressures they face that no ethnic group could possibly understand.
wait this dude was just shoved away and slipped.
Wow what a way to exaggerate things.

definitely, his clothes are young-thuggish, not classical-thuggishThis is a joke, right?

This post is amazing. LolWe don't know if it was "dancing" or black people dancing to summon fellow gang members.
No one's defending the police. Would I be defending a wild animal if I told you that it's probably a bad idea to provoke it? Police are often violent because they get away with it. Many likely join the force because of the power granted to them. Don't mess with people that are allowed to hit you but are in no way guaranteed to be intelligent or considerate of the people they're charged to protect.
I'm personally a little disgusted with this guy trying to take advantage of the news revolving around a legitimate civil rights push just so he can have his 10 minutes on TMZ.

Like someone else said, you should stop calling for people to be banned. That's a mod's job/decision. Backseat modding it actually against forum rules.
Oh shit dude. Enjoy your ban!
