what a shame. though, i do agree with the sentiment here that his long distance relationship with the rest of the crew was problematic. it was the source of a major disconnect between him and the rest of the giant bomb identity. but he continued to do great work and a lot of it. and he has grown noticably during his tenure at the site. i admire him for all these things; his work ethic, his openness, and his evolving views regarding violent social hierarchies. he challenged the games enthusiast audience in a necessary way. so, here's cheers to you, patrick. keep working hard. your contentand characterare appreciated.

that said, if he is leaving giant bomb to work with temkin, i will be truly disappointed. allegations aside, i don't believe he is a successful advocate of the openness he espouses. i know the two maintain a personal and professional relationship, and that's their business, but it's not something i could personally see myself suppoeting.
