I'm 18 but I've always felt a lot more comfortable around people who are out of their teens. OT is a great way to get that feeling of comfort... when things are going well here, of course :D

I have yet to go outside and experience the heat. It was like 22 when I got to work this morning, my phone says 39 outside, but I'll sit under the AC for a bit longer before I walk home.

honest question, is getting a nose piercing of that sort especially painful? It's not something I think would work for me, but I've always been curious if that shit hurts. I think I have a high pain threshold but this one time I got a pimple inside my nose and that shit was viciously sensitive.

What's wrong with that? I'd never plan on it, but if it just seemed like the right thing to do, I see no problem with it. I don't mean romantically either. I know people from GAF that have caught up with each other at events that wound up have a fantastic time.

I do want to meet up someday. NYCGaf always sounds like a lot of fun. Hopefully I can attend the Pax East meet up and Comic Con meet up.

Yeah, I've never been part of a GAF meetup (don't think there's ever been any near me anyway), but they seem like they could be fun.

Are you serious? I met someone off of /b/ and I regret it tremendously. She was related to an old friend's girlfriend and shit got really weird really quick. At least you know that most GAF folk have something going on, I.E they can afford to pay for cable and or are attending college.

Not really. Well at least the initial piercing process isn't that painful, it only hurts if you bump it hard in the first few weeks of healing. Pain varies for everyone though, especially with piercings.

Stretching it to 10g (which is what you see in the picture, since downsized because of work) hurt like a mother&$&@*%*& *&($*)@ &*%#*($(@&$)

Work a bit uptight about that sort of thing? You interface with the public or they just think it's bad for business?

I'm kidding about the GAF thing but I met 5 people I go to Vegas with every year from 4chan. Naturally all deviants in some way but we all have a good time...really odd how it worked out I guess.

They have a "no visible piercings except anything on the ear" policy, so I just flip it up. Problem is at that size is having that much metal up in your nose. The initial piercing size is much more comfortable.

I just leave my tongue in too but I have clear ends on it, blends in well enough and it barely shows when I talk.
